I have mixed feelings about this. I don't think it really changes anything because anyone with experience knows how long the stuns are anyways, and it's good for new players to learn the skills but...
it looks terrible and you can't turn it off
It's an MMO-style buff duration bar in a genre where screenspace is much more of a luxury. I found it pretty distracting.Well, I haven't seen it in-game yet. What makes it so awful?
why can't they make some clock based display under the feet for this shit? Easily visible and non intrusive... or on the unit portrait.
Dota is unfortunate in the fact that, when it works, it's the best shit ever, but when it doesn't it's the worst shit ever. The problem is that it almost never works, so it's not worth the time.

I don't think my post meant what you think it meant.Dota is unfortunate in the fact that, when it works, it's the best shit ever, but when it doesn't it's the worst shit ever. The problem is that it almost never works, so it's not worth the time.
Balance wise 6.88 gotta to be the "work" patch. Less than 10% of the total pool of hero is garbage. And if it doesn't work most of the time it means you need to get good noob.
I have an all-nighter once a week with my RL feeder friends. Dota has the distinct problem of only being fun when you win.Dota is unfortunate in the fact that, when it works, it's the best shit ever, but when it doesn't it's the worst shit ever. The key to fun is to play with a bunch of friends
