The tactical camera is handled with a toggle of the back button (on the Xbox 360 controller we were using for our PC demo). From there, I was able to freely move around the area (in three dimensions - the camera isn’t fixed to a specific altitude), cycle through each of the characters to move them or choose from one of eight different quick abilities (up from six in the previous two games), and plan for the fight ahead.

"Lee told me that my decisions will have a physical effect on the world. He said I’ll be able to build bridges that lead to new areas, drain massive lakes to reveal dungeons and destroy the fragile economy of a nearby fishing village, and other radical impacts I could have on the landscape and population."

It all looks like fantasy Mass Effect, even animations.

ME is their biggest and most successful hit, so makes sense to turn everything into ME now.
Even plot is ME-like, and new mechanics with gathering army will look like ME3 too probably.

I was going to pirate this game, but after watching these videos I am not so sure. Why the hell is everyone so ugly?

Because they are from U.S. These are ugly. They have it with mixing with imigrants who were too ugly to stay in theirs country.

Games looks like a DA game. if you hate the series you hate this game. If you like the series you like this game. It isn't fukkin' complicated.

I most certainly don't get the same feeling I did with DAO from watching these videos. In particular when it comes to the combat. It do clearly look better though.

Might make sense if a Canadian game had anything to do with the United States.

People from the U.S. are "ugly" because lack of regulation results in hyper processed foods with little nutrition and lots of crap, the genetic diversity that comes from recruiting globally is a stimulus to our attractiveness

I liked DA:O. But I hate companions playing a role beyond having a stat sheet and there is good reason for it. (Fenris leaving my party broke DA2 for me far more than any other design choice.)

Now. I'm not a guy with many friends or relationships, because I find it fucking difficult to find either. However, this is mostly because I am insanely picky. Whatever the case, I happily fit into the deviant basement dweller paradigm - being gay and a furry and a whole bunch of other bullshit. So, the image you guys create of the BSN crowd, fits me perfectly well. Only, I am not part of that crowd.

To me game characters, just like their irl counterparts, have always been pretty boring. I don't find people very interesting; I find ideas interesting. Bioware characters lack ideas - as do most of the game industry, so don't get me wrong. It doesn't matter how awesome you are or how much you are into me, or have cataclysmic your past is. Ultimately you are fucking boring in the present. Try and sell me an idea and I will be interested. It really is that simple. Bioware completely and utter fails in that. Bioware wants to make me emotional over "issues". I'm not emotional over issues. I never will be. What I need is a conversation with ideology. Tease the intellectual part of me.

You know, some of you guys might hate GD and totally, I can understand why. What you don't get is how much that stimulation provided by GD is required by gamers like me, because they do not find it anywhere else - especially games.

Why are you faghats even planning on pirating this if you know it's gonna be shit? You are still supporting Bioware by showing them that you are interested enough to play their games even if you aren't going to buy. It'll just make them try even harder next time to win you over. Don't encourage them. Publishers still look at pirate numbers are potential customers that need to be somehow coerced.
