Also, as far as having worthwhile stuff to say, Darrah's content is much more technical and in-depth while Tim tends to focus on more accessible (and often autobiographical) stuff.

Even if Veilguard fails PapEA will just have Bioware taken to back of the barn and they will focus on their money making portfolio which they pretty much have monopoly on (I guess the Korean Sims will challenge their dominance in life-sims)

Well... Guess we'll have to see if Bioware will be taken to back of the barn or behind the barn...

Interesting video from Mark Darrah. Looks like he´s the one keeping some common sense and sanity in the company. At least from the ones that are shown on camera.

If Darrah, who got fired from Bioware, is attempting to latch up on the "Tim Cain on Games" series, he's miserably failing. Bloke got nothing interesting to say, unlike Tim, who's a treasure of experience and stories.

As far as I know he didnt get fired, he left in 2021 after EA decided to not release the completed version of the live-service game that he worked on(EA also cancelled the Dragon Age game he lead the development of between 2015 and 2017). He was also tossed around in Bioware between Andromeda and Anthem to force employees to crunch for months to get those games ready for release while working on Dragon Age at the same time. His channel also existed before Tim's, but he is responsible for managing employees more than being part of the creative process so his videos on game development arent really as interesting as Tim's. Bioware hired him as a consultant less than a year ago to get Vileguard ready for release by trying to make the new generation of "diverse" developers crunch without hurting their feelings.

But he is just a cunt like the rest of them because of how he tries to justify the awful choices they made during development of Dragon Age 2 and claim that its a good game with some revolutionary gameplay desings instead of simply saying EA fucked Bioware in the ass for variety of reasons around that time and the result was probably one of the worst games ever made.

How about a homophobia/transphobia filter that removes all the gay and tranny crap?
Oh, wait, there’d be nothing left…
Isn't there a thread for an anti-woke mod for Baldur's Gate 3 somewhere here? Just ask the guy if he'll give Veilguard a go.

Codex, a serious question.

The previous versions of the qunari could presumably face plant into the pillow when they need some shut-eye.

Now, many of these new ones have curly horns protruding forward, providing effective 360 head rest denial.

How do these guys sleep? Discuss.

I'm guessing they evolved to avoid sleep, due to the ever-present threat of gay rape in Bioware's conception of their homeland

I remember when this whole "arachnophobia" thing started, back with DAO. This should have been a warning sign. Catering to the demands of tiny minorities at the expense of the majority.
Wouldn't it be a great spin/troll to ask for a "homophobia filter" as an accessibility feature?
