This must be the cheapest AI music generator on the market.

Granted, Hans Zimmer has been a let down lately.
Hans Zimmer isnt doing any work, he didnt even do the theme himself even though he is credited for it. Its done by one of the composers working for his company, it is hollywoods go to company for cheap and fast soundtracks with a big name attached to them.

1000 concurrent Steam players in the first 24 hours. Do you take the over or the under?
Wouldnt be surprising if it gets anything between 50k to 100k. Biodrones aside, a lot of casuals are buying it because its a big EA game from an established franchise with no other big games coming out unfortunately. They really got lucky with release date again just like Inquisition. Two mid-sized RPG games and a fucking Assassins Creed game got delayed to next year instead of killing this game.

Yes, women love DA2. This is news?
No they dont. Only people, men or women, that like DA2 is because of companions and it is more of a recent trend because even Biodrones mostly hated that game up until 2015-6. Companions throw themselves at the player character regardless of gender and due to the limited development of the game, relationships advance pretty fast constantly pumping dopamine levels of players and making them forget their extreme loneliness. The crowd that keeps preaching about how Dragon Age 2 is a great and an underrated game can only point to companions in the game and nothing else, because they dont even like playing games or being challenged by silly stuff like gameplay mechanics.

Those armors look like nonsense.

They're Concord-level bland. Even the colors. There most likely will be a chance to customise the colors of some armor parts which has been a feature since ME2, but why not showcase some of those armors with maximum saturation then?

It's entertaining to speculate what will become of Bioware.
At this point all of the old westerd RPG big game studios have changed guard and are unrecognizable. Thing is I am writing this in between runs in Metaphor - a game which forces me to play a crosseyed, blue haird androgyn retard that walks around with 3 fucking belts on and has a personality as big as that bimbo in Twilight. I mean look at him:
Who forces you? Who brother, WHO??? I hear this all the time. Drop playing bad woke games. FFS! For Heaven's sake! What the actual fuck?! Stop wasting your time. There are LITERALLY HUNDREDS of perfect in every way video games of every genre released prior to 2010s. RPG Codex''s TOP 101 RPG list alone. And there are dozens of good and really good indies for every year since ~2015 that have been made and are being made. Not to mention any other type of entertainment or activity which can help you LVL UP on screen or in real life. Stop sniffing cat piss. You're all literal fucking addicts to being fucked in the ass by WOKE games

You are the problem. YOU. Not this or that evil or WOKE as most retarded evil. No. It is those born to be heroes who have chosen to kneel in front of evil. Stand up. Wipe your mouth and butt. And do something good. The least you could do is buy and play good game

I didn't watch trailer. Why should I? Why should I give it some 2 mins and few seconds of my time. And 1 view. Dislike it without watching. Roast dead pig with Bioware stamp on it. The pig is dead. Roast it a little bit more, eat your sorrow once it is done soon and move on. Dragon Age: Origins never got sequels. Sad but true reality. Oh, well! Can't wait for Swordhaven, Underrail Infusion, Monomyth, Kingdom Come 2 and Vampire Syndicate

Don't be spirtual bitch to dead brand name. Don't laugh at cat chasing laser beam over the room. You exhibit same IQ behaviour

The way it's been selling according to SteamDB, I'd say 20k tops. Unless this thing has a huge surge of buyers on launch.

I want it to have less than 50k at its peak so of course the opposite will happen. There will be a large surge before release day because thats when all the reviews will come out and unfortunately game is bad score proof thanks to all of the identity politics they shoved in peoples faces during marketing. Can you imagine any website giving this game less than a 9 and not being bombarded by a legion of ultra-inclusive culturally enriched folk?

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
I wonder how EA allowed them to create this monstrosity
in fact you'd be hard pressed to name a single game with a female or POC protagonists that was actually successful lately
Metroid Dread, Selaco, Last of Us 2, Hades II.

Oh, don't get me wrong, Last of Us 2 is shit, but the other 3 games I mentioned are either good or great and all of them have been financially successful (in fact, Metroid Dread is the best-selling Metroid game ever made).
Afaik you can't even tell Dread has a female protag just from a random gameplay sample. It's not even a factor.

Selaco isn't out yet, can't say it's successful (plus is it like with Dread? Is the protag even a thing?)

Hades II isn't out either but yeah, it'll probably be successful.

TLoU2 is the only legitimate example. Thing is sequels sell on the strength of the previous game. Let's see how TLoU3 does, then we'll talk.

I think TLoU2 rode on the success of the first game that had strong male protagonist but was also one of the most overrated gaystation slops ever. And the first game outsold it by millions. Hell i think even remaster of TLOU1 outsold it.

It was also 4 years ago, well before the supposed backlash began. I wouldn't really qualify it as a game that was successfuly "lately."

All that said, I expect veilguard to sell well enough that its supporters can claim it as a huge success but not so well that its detractors can't claim the opposite.

I don't doubt normies will swallow this because of dragon age name alone. I am that black pilled. Still it would be nice if humanity restored my faith in it at least once by making this aids ridden pille of shit fail so hard that "Bioware" would finally cease to exist. And we would have Woke Tears Cola and Salty SJW Misery popcorn for months to come while playing some actually good games.

Veilguard vs Red Dead Redemption next week will be interesting as far as peak player counts. If Veilguard gets outperformed by a 15 year old Rockstar title... lol

@Wirdschowerdn since you're the only person here excited about the game, are you going to play this on release? If yes, would you consider streaming? I'd happily grab a bottle of vodka and watch a 'dexer play it.

Actually, out of the 191 votes, 13 people are going to play it.

I've never played a Dragon Age gayme and never will. I've never played any Ass Effect gayme either.

It's Samus Aran. The game makes it absolutely clear that she is a woman; also, when you die, your suit explodes and you can see her wearing nothing but the zero suit, as per the series' tradition.

Selaco and Hades II are in the same situation: both are in Early Access, but have sold tons for indie games (especially Hades II) and both were really well-received. I guess I can agree that Selaco isn't a perfect example because it's still missing a ton of content, but Hades II was already mostly finished when it came out in Early Access (in fact, I'm pretty sure it was already larger than its predecessor back in May).

As for TLoU3... well, who knows. I certainly won't be enthusiastic about buying a potential sequel, given how juvenile the writing in TLoU2 was, but a lot of people seem to have liked it, for some reason.

Didnt know RDR was coming out, now Im feeling kind of optimistic again. I can certainly see RDR taking the spotlight and stealing a portion of release day sales.

This is releasing in the same day as Red Dead remastered and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. Funny timing.

I imagine Red Dead will probably be the biggest release among these, at least on PC.

Not even close.

Monster Hunter Wilds open beta is launching in the same time and it will absolutely devour everything else. I imagine Bioware went into a company-wide fit of screaming rage when Capcom announced it yesterday   :smug:

Critical race theory, queer theory, feminist theory, and all other nonsense that divide people in oppressor X oppressed based in gender, race or sexual orientation comes from them.

2000 or less players. Will fail and bomb. BIGLY!

Disagree. Will sell by brand recognition and journo hype alone. Like the last of us 2. But in few days, there will be a massive drop in purchases.
