Probably some asset they are reusing from one of the previous iterations of this game. The entire thing looks like it was cobbled together by using a bunch of mismatching assets. It reeks of 'we have all this incoherent and disparate stuff and now we need to make it look like a game'.Did the veil going to shit made everyone and their mother into mages? This is like playing Who Wants to be a Millionaire with the answers already highlighted.It's nice that they highlight the buttons you have to press to win in green like that, imagine how stressful it would be if you had to work out what abilities to use yourself based on your knowledge of the gameplay mechanics

I legitimately like playing a dumb melee fighter who just pummels everything to death. You could do that in old RPGs and it was fun. I'm not sure when it happened, but I noticed it with PoE: everything has to have a bunch of active abilities now. Modern Fighters are just a different flavor of Mage.I noticed that too. I too have noticed this and its really annoying. Everything has to have flashy vfx on it even on what is supposed to be just a warrior, really annoying and lazy way to try to make a class 'appealing'. Proper way would be to have the start off with only basic attacks/animations, but give them increasingly complex and technical animations showing them becoming masters of their fighting style. On top of just become fast and strong of course.
