Game isn't even out yet, and it's already surpassed Andromeda in terms of free entertainment.

ONE GOOD RPG WITH HIGH PRODUCTIONS, GOOD STORY, BELIEVABLE WORLD, SEXY WOMEN AND GOOD GAMEPLAY. ONE HIGH PRODUCTION NON-WOKE RPG

Ah, yes. Kingdom Come 2: Revenge of Chuds. Cumming soon all over this retarded industry
:smug:
Safeguarded by Denuvo(tm)!
Yes. Sucks. Not as much as Trannyguard or you. You suck entire dragon cock. What's the point of that comment? You're not sincere with it. Knowing you, had KCD2 had niggers and trannies, but tasteful, aka had it been good agenda vehicle to hit deep behind chud enemy lines and straight into heart of normalcy and fashist evul right wingers, somehow mate, honestly, somehow I have real trouble seeing you giving two shits about Denuvo

Fuck Denuvo. Fuck WOKE and Bioware 1000x more

That's fine for a purely tactical game, but certainly not an rpg.
Of course it's fine for a crpg. "Certainly" lol. While character reactivity can be properly done and add certain flair to the game (like it is indeed the case with SirTech titles), there are multiple crpgs where characters don't react to shit that dunk all over the abundant and ever-present "morrigan disapproves" inanity.
Oh? Any example which is also not a 35+ years old dungeon crawler or a retroclone of those?
Because going from dungeon crawlers to where we are now is exactly where we wanted to be, amirite? It's a ridiculous over-exaggeration anyway, most games from the period considered "golden era" by an average codexer have very little to none of that shit. It's BG2 that blew up and popularized it and look where it went from there.

OMG. I started watching the Skill Up review. This game is so deliciously bad. I hadn't really imagined or expected such depths of cringe. That "grave conflict" between whatshisface spic and the negro elf. The "until those issues are resolved" moment. The cringe does flow indeed.

Se people are now pretending that DA games weren't always filled with degeneracy and woke shit.

There is a huge difference between gay romance in Origins and in this shit. In Origins, you can kill the gay elf. In this game, you can't say mean things. As I've said, having """degeneration""" doesn't make anything woke. VtMB has a lot of degeneration, hookers in every street offering "dates" for eg.

What makes the game woke is adopting the mindset of oppressors X oppressed based in gender, race or sexual orientation, being unable to put breasts in females but able to make trans characters with breast removal surgery scars is peak woke mindset that straight sexuality is bad and for incels and everything else is great and must be worshiped.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
I vaguely remember his Dragon's Dogma 2 'review' where he apparently 100% completed the game in around 20 hours.

Once I see someone bullshitting they lose any trust they may have accumulated with me and anything they say in the future also becomes unreliable.

I'm not surprised the liar is willing to shill for a large corp.

Ironically, a lot of points Shill Up brings up remind me about Inquisition. A goodie two shoes protagonist who is always nice to everyone, "HR in the room" writing, damage sponge enemies, pretty but dull and directionless areas, i had absolutely the same pieces of criticism towards Inquisition a decade ago.
I guess this is one of the reasons why his review resonated with a lot of people.
Inquisition only really had the HR in the room writing when it came to LGBT topics, like Dorian's personal quest or the troon in mercenary company. The protag also didn't have to be a goodie two shoes, you were forced to be in the context of the main story, but outside of that you had a lot of freedom. You could execute various people, tell Cullen to suck it up and stop acting like a bitch about Lyrium withdrawal, punch Solas, get Gaspard on the throne by allowing murder to happen (muh fascist!!111). The characters were pretty diverse and not all nice. Vivienne is introduced by basically murdering someone in front of an audience, Blackwall is a fraud, some you can outright reject (Sera, thank God) or even attempt to kill (the ghost guy, forgot the name). It's not Origins or even DA2 by any means, but is still a relatively competent AAA RPG outside the few blatant agenda pushing scenes. The same can't be said about e.g. Andromeda or this turd.

After watching Shill Up's review, I no longer want to play the game just to see how bad it is

This is worse. The shit writing in The Veilguard is at a level I’m surprised to see in a studio production. I was expecting this game to be bad, but I wasn’t expecting the level of incompetence to be that high. The writing is so bad it’s like a parody of everything bad about BioWare.

Morty's comment under video about DA:V:
If you honestly believe that I would ever accept any form of compensation for a review, you obviously don't know me at all and more importantly you have no idea how anything sponsored or paid works. If I failed to disclose something like that the FTC could fine me 40k+and my channel could get deleted, not to mention the obvious reputational damage. I have not received any compensation of any sort for this, I just liked the game and it is my goty in an otherwise underwhelming year. I did not even attend their preview event. I'm glad other reviewers have expressed their opinions about why they DONT like it, because that is how reviews work and people should see it from all angles, I said it would be divisive in this very video.

"P-P-Please EA fire all these woke monsters at Bioware!"
maybe articulate your issue instead of hit and running. You wont get banned here for having a different opinion than anyone else.

How am I supposed to make sense of Chud hysteria? There's nothing to articulate. It's all just impotent rage driven by delusion.
why is this chud hysteria in your opinion ? Imo even a trans person should be offended by dragon age veilguard

It's pixels projecting into your eyeballs. Somehow, in the deranged Chud mind, it is a real-life threat. Go figure.

Baldur's Gate 1 had it mostly right, but most games don't have the luxury of such a huge pool of companions to replace malcontents. Sometimes there's only one cleric, thief, etc. so their presence in the party is a necessity.
A portrait, a voice, a biography, a reason for being where they are, people they like and people they hate (and people they like to make fun of) and enough replacements to let you actually enjoy the repercussions of people getting killed. Perfect.
BG1 characters had about as much personality and reactions to anything as customs (that is, almost zero), yet none of the advantages of those. Most didn't even have a well defined motivation to waste their time traversing the regional bushes with the protagonist, basically dolls. That's fine for a purely tactical game, but certainly not an rpg.
If you want to have a large cast, I think Jagged Alliance did it better. All good parts had characters which still felt as characters and not just portraits with stats.
There are also nice but rarely used tricks to give personalities to custom characters, by clever stats triggers in dialogs & scenes, especially the negative traits. Realms of Arkania 3 did it, also Expedition Conquistador (sadly went for a shorter cast in later games).

They had no personality yet they are all remebered even decades later.

In fact, you can actually make a case some were more memorable in BG1 than the same in BG2.

Chatter is not the same as personality.

BioWare trannies went after MattyP and he has responded

I think it goes without saying, but today has been an extremely hard day. I really appreciate your patience as I looked into things.First off, I would like to apologize to everyone at BioWare and EA. I have already reached out to them to let them know the truth. We already have plans to sit down and have a conversation about it. That is my gameplay. It was never my intention for clips of Dragon Age to get released ahead of the embargo lifting. I had shared these two clips of the game with an editor of mine. It is to my understanding that these clips were then taken, shared again, and went down the chain to someone far removed from the both of us who then posted them claiming to be associated with me. So, yes, the clips are mine. If BioWare, EA, or any other game company chooses to not work with me over this, then I fully understand and accept that. If you, the viewers of my content, choose not to trust me because you deem me irresponsible with the privilege I was given as a game reviewer, I also fully understand and accept that. With that said, it’s extremely important for me to firmly shut down one element of this narrative going around about me. Whoever shared these clips on X with the attached hateful comments and replies is NOT me. I have no clue who runs that account. They are most definitely not my friend and they stand against everything I believe in. I am only speculating, but I think whoever took my game footage and tweeted it as if they were connected with me was quite deliberate as it’s an easy way to paint me in a bad light. Beyond any guesses I may have, I would never leak my own footage on an alt account and then use that exact same footage in my review. Said account no longer exists and it is my understanding that it is because it was reported multiple times following the public ridicule it rightfully received. There's no room for that type of hate.It also needs to be said that I have not deleted any comments on my review. I believe as a consumer of media, you have a right to call someone out on bullshit or say what you feel. I do have preset words for my channel filters that fall under racist, homophobic, etc. terms that automatically get caught by YouTube’s moderation system, but that’s it. I know I can’t convince each and every one of you, but I do think you all deserve an explanation. At the end of the day, my circle of trust was breached and it was my fault for sending a clip in the first place.I’m deeply disheartened by the amount of people who believed that this Twitter account was me. I don’t expect blind loyalty yet it hurts to see just how quickly I was thrown under the bus. The sad reality of it all is the damage is done and many people have made up their minds about me today.Since I have started covering this game, many angry opinions have fallen in my lap. When I played the preview, I thoroughly enjoyed it and had a chance to interview the game’s director, Corinne Busche. On that video, people were sending hate my way because they wanted their opinions heard. Now, I have put out my honest and objective review and people are still unhappy with my personal opinion. It has always been my goal to deliver fair, honest coverage of video games and elevate the conversation, not fan the flames. I’m deeply sad that my clips have played into the detraction of a game that, as stated in my review, others may enjoy more than me. Looking at the OpenCritic score, I’m glad to see it is that way. It’s been a tough cycle for the folks at BioWare and to know I played a part in the pain of the developer who made my favorite games ever is a regret that I don’t think I will ever live down, even if people choose to forgive me.I want to thank my wife, my best friends, and my LSM family who hung with me and didn’t lose faith in me. The statements made about my character today have broken my heart into a million pieces. I don’t say that so you feel bad for me, I just feel it’s important to give my love to those who willingly stood by me in the face of all this. I know it wasn’t easy having your ethics in question just by being in my vicinity.Lastly, I am not going anywhere. I will be continuing to make content about games across MrMattyPlays, Retro Rebound, and Defining Duke. I will also continue to pretend I know what I’m talking about when it comes to movies on Retro Rewind. Hopefully, I will see you there. If not, thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you have a good rest of your day.Stay sexy, stay active,Matty

On the internet, writing shit posts.
Codex, a serious question.

The previous versions of the qunari could presumably face plant into the pillow when they need some shut-eye.

Now, many of these new ones have curly horns protruding forward, providing effective 360 head rest denial.

How do these guys sleep? Discuss.
Upside down like bats. Hence why their foreheads are so huge now, because of the blood flow.

There's also a clip floating around where Shill Up shows how him choosing the 'Who is this fool?' dialogue choice resulted in 'Who is this person?', if you listen to what the NPC says carefully they use the pronoun 'they' instead of 'he' when referring to said NPC
