Inquisition was a chore to sit trough but it still had a semblance of gameplay, choice and consequence, and actual character development. Veilguard is just full on performative neolib identity politics, where you don't need to think, you just "are", and that's enough.

Yep. There have been plenty of posts mocking the game for having invincible party members that don't do meaningful damage and the three skill limit. Bad gameplay isn't uncommon, but blatant propaganda on this scale is.
