My god, that's brutal. Not just the dialogue, look at Harding's face! Unacceptably lazy animation work.

Every compilation video I see makes the dialogue seem worse than the last. The content and writing aren't even the biggest issues; the delivery is almost universally dogshit with Jin Maley's performance as Taash standing out as particularly flat. Every companion seems to oscillate between adorkable nerd and petulant teenager, genuinely awful.

If you told me every dialogue scene in Veilguard was scripted, animated and delivered by generative A.I. without any human QC I'd believe you. It's that uncanny and generic.

So BioWare trannie Andrew Busche chose another trannie actress to voice Taash.

Baldur's Gate 3, by far the biggest game of last year, a CRPG that's not only a sequel to Bioware's iconic BG2 in name and setting, but obviously inspired by Dragon Age: Origins in its cinematic presentation, focus on companions, dialogue, and even "camp" mechanics. But no, let's not compare the latest Dragon Age game with that because that's not what Bioware intends.
