I tried out the character creator demo for Veilguard after doing a complete playthrough of Mass Effect: LE and I wanted to see if I could recreate my Shepard. Turns out it's impossible to make him because he's White. Selecting the lightest skin tone and complexion his skin still looks obviously south american/latino. And there's a melanin scale that you can adjust, but it only goes between 60% and 100% and you can't adjust the bar lower.

They did this with Andromeda as well. What's going to happen if we can import our Shepard into ME4 and they pull this crap?

Oh, that's an interesting discovery. Thanks for testing it to enhance all of our collective knowledge.

I have no idea how this ended in my feed. Is this the sanest female Bioware fan and what "female RPG players" are like? You tell me.

I randomly clicked in a part of the video and she was ranting about grifters, saying there is almost no woke content as a straight MC and the internet lied about it, that she was happy for representation even if it wasnt done well, that most people like inclusion if its done with nuance and that you can use the skip button if you dont want to see these parts.

I chose to believe this is a sign from God since this was literally the first thing I saw in the video. I swear to God things like this just fuel my paranoia.

it is literally impossible for anyone to make a video about veilguard that is NOT negative who isn't an SJW. it's a dead giveaway. There is no reason to carry water for the game other than ideological ones.

Fuck off, Cunt! I tried the creator demo, that's all. I didn't play this shit game. Why don't you make yourself useful and write a list of everyone who played BG3? It's guaranteed to be longer. I'm so tired of the hypocritical double standard shit on this forum.

ONCE YOU PLAY ANY PART OF VEILGUARD, YOU ARE FOREVER A VEILSISTER.

Why don't you make yourself useful and write a list of everyone who played BG3?
Oh, that ship has sailed a long time ago.

Two can play at that game. How about a list of everyone who's posted here in this thread. You think your hands are clean? You've probably spent more time in this thread talking about failguard than I have. Let's tally up the post count and find out who the real VEILFAGGOT is.

60% is the minimum, instead of 0% ? This time I'm convinced it has to be an honest bug. Mass effect featured a literal grease-paint white option, but times be changin'.

It's probably another situation like in Andromeda where they simply blocked access to light skin color (absolutely on purpose) and it was only available in case of the ugly default appearance (they probably unlocked it eventually but who knows).
You'd think that no one would be stupid enough to do it again but I guess the hope was vain.

Ten years since Dragon Age: Inquisition, it's been a tumultuous time for BioWare following missteps with Mass Effect Andromeda and Anthem. Yet despite delays and high-profile exits, Dragon Age: The Veilguard is nothing short of a triumphant turnaround for the celebrated RPG developer. With a fantastic cast of memorable and complex characters, it's not just about picking who you want to romance but being there to help them through their own problems, which is going to prove important to save the world from threats even greater than the Dreadwolf. It may not be without its divisive changes, from a focus to full-on action-based combat to a more linear approach to level design, but when it comes back to what matters most, its characters and the choices you make, this is still very much Dragon Age to its core, and a comeback story for the ages.

Haven't played it so not sure why I'm on the list all of a sudden unless posting a link to a trial is a thought crime now.

I noticed in Mortisimal's end of year wrap-up he's no longer saying Veilguard is his Game of the Year...apparently it lost out at the last moment to:

With buzzphrases like "the euro-centricity of aesthetics" still being parroted, that's very likely. There's a big push for mulatto (=mutt) as the new western beauty standard, as well as for the couplings that produce these. Imagine living in a west-friendly east-asian country for a prolonged period and returning back to west. It would give you a fresh perspective on this hate towards indigenous european populations. It shouldn't come as a surprise considering that "The plan" has been spoken of publicly in the past.

I find it hilarious one of the most popular Purpleguard mods is to deuglify Taash, and they called it a "Realistic 4k Complexion mod" so it doesn't get banned.

I mean, it's not much of an improvement.
literally old joke when wommyn comes to husband and start pestering him "did you notice any changes in me?" he stops reading newspaper for a second and just to say something "you plucked your brows?"
