I find it hilarious one of the most popular Purpleguard mods is to deuglify Taash, and they called it a "Realistic 4k Complexion mod" so it doesn't get banned.

The whole, let's make 'em fat, ugly and indescribably dysgenic stems from one simple fact.
The vidya Jew who creates the games can't stand creating beauty, because on a deep, visceral level he knows he himself is something much lower than garbage.
He is a bugman. A Nietzschean last man. They can no longer contain themselves by merely inserting themselves through writing, they must self insert in every way imaginable.
Collectively, the vidya devs resemble a disgusting, atrocious, Lovecraftian monster screaming from the abyss, and as we all know, take care when you gaze into the abyss for the abyss also gazes into you.
Edit: I feel like I've made this exact post before.

I really haven't played this game much more since I last posted. I seem to still be in act 1 as far as I can tell, and still have less than half of the companions.

I think the biggest flaw with this game, which is a trend continuing since ME:Andromeda, is that none of the companions are interesting or good.

That was a huge part of the winning formula that Bioware had developed, and it reached it's peak in the mass effect series. You can find videos of people literally crying as they are saying goodbye to their companions the final time in ME3 as if they were saying goodbye to real friends in real life.

And the most successful and beloved DLC from ME3 was one that let you throw a party and hang out with your companions one final time.

And one of the main reasons people were upset with the ending of ME3 was that it didn't really provide much of an epilogue for the companions.

But the companions in this game are so bland and the writing makes it worse. Because you can't ever argue, oppose, or even just react negatively to any of your companions. That isn't just limited to the tranny character, that is a limitation on all character interactions. You are always supportive of them and what they say or do.

I think this is the first bioware game I've played where what you say is actually less extreme than the initial text blurb on the dialog wheel. There have been several times where what looked like a somewhat argumentative or mean comment on the dialog wheel actually winds up being supportive or disagreeing in a way doesn't try to challenge the validity of what they are saying.

I will try to play some more. Try to at least beat it once since I do have some interest in seeing what happens with the story around Solas (I have already been spoiled of the broad points of the story, but still want to see the details as that part is still interesting to me) but I don't really care for any of the companions so far, and the gameplay already is feeling like a chore after like 10 to 15 hours.

This definitely doesn't bode well for the next mass effect. Both the most recent ME game and DA game had the problem with absolutely uninteresting companions and their overall company writing philosophy seems to be the cause of it.

I don't know why he's so popular, he has awful taste in games.
He talks about mechanics, and he finishes games before talking about them.
But yeah, his tastes are very unrefined for someone who spends so much time playing games.

So how badly did they rape the lore in this turd? The seven Tevinter dragon gods were literally just the elven gods who were trapped not in the Fade, but underground somewhere? And the Golden/Black City was... what exactly?

And then the dragon/elven gods reached out to seven Tevinter magisters, had them storm the Goldblack City in the Fade, and then they turned into darkspawn, spawned off even more darkspawn, then the darkspawn found one of the dragon gods (Dumat? Which of the Evanuris was this?) and corrupted it into a darkspawn dragon, who then led a mindless assault against all life until it was killed?

And then all the other ones, one after another, until this game when Solas fucks up the cycle?

How does any of this make any sense? And what about the Forgotten/Forsaken/Forbidden Ones, the supposed enemies of the Evanuris whom the Dread Wolf supposedly trapped underground? Did they just kind of forget about that piece of the lore?

Why are you curious? Are you thinking about playing the game?
