Eh. Well, there's only one so far.

I never finished the first one. Were there any blacks in it?

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
That new monsters tho :bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce:

pretty much the only problem with the first game is monster variety but we already seen more big monsters than the previous game (non reskinned/upgraded like cyclops/gorecyclops, etc)

GOTY 2024 easily, likely an all-timer. Loving how many new skills it looks like there are for Fighter/Warrior and the new enemies, new classes...It really looks like they are just going to deliver on everything.

Have they released any details about any of the development stuff? Like it looks like they built on top of the original game's assets or something.

Did they start from scratch, or were they able to repurpose stuff from DD1 in order to cut costs and keep things consistent with the ancient game?

This might as well be the game that makes me upgrade, at least my CPU. I'm not buying another card anytime soon though, my 2060 still chugs along just fine.

Are you guys at all concerned about the rampant animal abuse that's been displayed in the showcase videos lately?

Can I still make a loli scoundrel or it's a drop?
I haven't seen a single pawn/arisen with extreme height/weight yet. Everyone seems to be very within the norm. No giants, no lolis

It was forever ago, did they really show anything like that in the promo material for DD1 though? I don't recall anything like that, but it was also a different era for game ads. People still bought gaming magazines for news, even.

Figured you'd pick Sorc or Ranger for the explosive arrow shenanigans. I guess you just like mashing them together, eh? Get the best of both worlds?

Nope. I honestly din't liked much sorc in the first game. I mean, is just pressing two buttons and praying to not be interrupted. I also prefer less "flashy" spells. For eg, talking about cryomancy, being able to freeze enemy heart or having a "flesh to ice" spell is more interesting for me than throwing endless waves of ice meteors. Trickster attracts me much more than sorc in this game. But I don't have much info to judge. I tried to find more info about trickster but could't find. Using mists to attack enemies and mess with their senses sounds very interesting.

As for Magick Archers in the first game, getting a good magick bow is by far the hardest challenge of the first game imo. But the skills for melee and ranged gameplay are amazing, like immolation + thousand kisses dishes a lot of damage in melee and at range, Grand Scension, being able to buff you magic attack without items + ninefold bolt is amazing.

Yeah, the item progression was kind of wonky for a few weapon types.

I wasn't much of a fan of MA, though it was fun in the BBI sewers with the ricochets, just because it was both OP and didn't aim as much as the other bow classes since their shots are all spells. I preferred Strider -> Assassin for the skirmishing gameplay and still being able to aim.

You Starfield virgins all gaggling on about Denuvo again?

This game looks properly grounded. No Bear sex, no hours-long Astarion whining, no crazy-stared Todd-lers and disgusting Karen romances either. Just fightin' and questing and adventuring in a no-nonsense fantasy world. Thank God for Capcom.
