Yes, in fact shield guys were a pain to me sometimes before I was OP because blocking in time blocked my special attacks which inflict bleedThis looks like a game I would enjoy. I would like to avoid spoilers and build talk if I decide to play it. One question, can you use your shield to block? I noticed in a gameplay video that the character was dodging over and over when fighting even though he was carrying a shield.
The issue with shields is that they deplete stamina based on the damage they mitigated. So, you'll get stunned (your stamina reaches zero) whenever any high level enemy hits your block. Better than dying I suppose. This looks like a game I would enjoy. I would like to avoid spoilers and build talk if I decide to play it. One question, can you use your shield to block? Jewtron is too busy posting 300 Baldur's Gate 3 ambience videos, to care about putting actually good games on the front page.Yeah, this is actually a very cool game. Glad I found this thread. A bit disappointed this wasn't on the front page. Interest seems oddly low here.
Do you mean actually becoming part of the faction or just completing the quests to get in good standing?Question for people that finished the game or got very far. If I do the quests and join the Remnants now, does that create any problems with Nemeton later or will I still be able to go there and join them as well?
well quest says I need to join so to access the druids, also Nemeton seems to be far away and probably lots of high level enemies to kill to get there so I wanted to farm as much XP and gear from Remenants.Do you mean actually becoming part of the faction or just completing the quests to get in good standing?Question for people that finished the game or got very far. It locks you out of some things like certain people refusing to barter with you, etc.
If you want to maximize quests, xp, etc. just do the quests to put you in good standing with the factions but don't join until you're completely ready
Don't be. You literally can't "miss out" on content in this game, save for one area becoming inaccessible at the very end of chapter 3, and for the Pit mines if you join Nemeton. There are also no changes to existing spawns, and new spawns in future chapters are nearly non-existent, and only happen along the roads (not a single instance of it happening in caves, etc.). I also did everything in act 1, and I think I did myself a disservice, as I then had to do the rest of the game in a dead world with no monsters save quest-related ones.I'm constantly worrying about progressing too fast the story of act 1 and missing out some caves with wolves I have left because I'm not strong enough yet to clear them.
Tbh I was already self limiting with Crow's Feet like that, being able to just craft one and spam it infinitely was far too OP.I hate when they nerf stuff in single player games but that stuff was overpowered as hell even without the reuse.
Well, its cheap to craft and there are lots of resources if you explore right, so not that much of a problem.
35-45 hours if you're doing everything quest and getting the most out of a single playthroughDoes anyone have a time estimate for a playthrough?
40hDoes anyone have a time estimate for a playthrough?
took me 22 hours, I missed one important questDoes anyone have a time estimate for a playthrough?
I accidentally discovered it on steam while looking for games similar to the veilguard.
Just like Gothic, you're probably expected to not kill it until late game, or cheese it with consumables.Or am I just not supposed to kill it at lvl 8 with Remnant level weapons?!
