Alchemy has many more uses, I would say it's more valuable than crafting. At level 10 you can create poison that deals 11 damage every turn (assuming you're not against enemies with higher condition), use very powerful bombs and liquid fire, use berserk potion that makes your every fast attack devastating, etc. etc.

How does ironman even work in DR, does it delete your save if you die?

Edit: nevermind, just saw the question answered on the steamforum

I wanted to check what potion that guy drank and it looks like he drank poison. Should it be that way?

Does poison damage stack with each hit? If it does, the repeating crossbow could be quite lethal combined with poisoned missiles. Otherwise the damage per shot is too low for my liking.

Bow could be an interesting build for the PC. As far as I noticed the only potential bow NPC is Ismael.

Right, says that i need con 7 to get the jar from the scorpion hole. A quick question - can i raise PER with the healing machine or just STR/DEX/CON?

Lol. Tooltip is clearly wrong. Reinard drinks a Berserk potion at the start of the fight.
Yeah, thats what I thought. IIRC it's said in dialogue before the fight that he drinks some shrooms potion but I don't remember that kind of potion from AoD, did it was there also?

Another bug - the xbow for Roxy lacks information about passive effect bonus:

It does not, I think. Bleeding damage does, however.

I don't think he's drinking a berserk potion, he's drinking something more harmful. That's why his nose is bleeding in the text before the fight, he's ingesting something more akin to crack-meth.

edit: i'm saying it seems purposeful to me, he's harming his body with the stimulant.

Out of all my playthroughs it was definitely the hardest. Create a build like mine and see for yourself.

I also started the game with a similar 10cha char with xbow but better combat stats and lower int. Thing is you need to treat your companions like a sack of cold water in the desert and feed them all your rations and salves and even wash their feet with warm water until you get Roxana. With 10cha the pc is seriously gimped in combat regardless of skills and the companions need to cover for you at the beginning of the game (this was especially the case for me as I tried a block / xbow build with no hand xbow thus no shield till second floor). Feeding the 3 stooges or Ardomir to the ants resulted in loading a previous save since Barca became near impossible. I'd also suggest using the same team and loading them up with defensive skills all the way. Only trade them when you're getting a new companion, ie 1 for Reinard and 1 for Ismail scorps. Otherwise it was a reload fest for me.

Post-Rox is a diffrent matter though, with free 6craft items from Hieron you mow down everything since both Rox and Ismail are on par with Marcus at that point. So I'd say for a high charisma character , the game starts as very hard and laters turns easy (you know, AoD level of "easy") due to the availability of companions.

Is there any way to win the last fight?
I've survived two waves of imperial soldiers, but i can't heal for the third fight, and have a badly wounded char, that keeps dying. I do know about the portal ending, but i thought i could somehow fight my way through. Seems silly against a besieging legion, but oh well we all assume that the options in the game have to lead to some resolve, not just game over, right?

Of course there is, for a solo run the easiest way is to have 10 alchemy and
regeneration potion
, for those who can take followers Roxana should suffice. In general alchemy is the way to win, you can spam bombs/liquid fire and it's easy peasy.

I can't craft regeneration potion my alchemy is too low. Beside what's the recipe?

Edit: Oh well, this time i will start with a max crafting/alchemy character and high charisma. Going for full followers squad crafting OP shit.

Just finished a hard run, really fun. Surprised about the number of fights, a ton of them and a lot of content for a 10 dollar game.

Need a super rare ingredient combined with a super common one. It's also permanent effect. It's guarded by some tough and hard hitting creates that may or may not be organic in nature.

It's beatable. I figured it was the final final battle so I just spammed all the consumables (berserk potion, extended neurostim, whetstones) I'd been saving up the whole game.
