I created a
4 STR -
5 DEX -
4 CON-
8 PER-
10 INT-
9 CHA character to see how far I'll go and to pass all INT checks along the way but as it turned out a build like that is totally viable and what's more important very enjoyable to play.
After a certain point I didn't have to invest any SP and as a result I've had lots (206) of unused SP. This changed once I had to face the Emperor, at this point I was a sitting duck (with absolutely no defence besides DR from the armor) and could be killed by anyone with nowhere to run. So I've spent my points to max crafting and have a decent block (6 to be exact).
With such low DEX you have to use completely different tactics and there's no way to cheese through fights, especially in the beginning. I had to sacrifice EVERYONE on rock bottom + Hieron to even get to Reinard and the fight with him took me about an hour (once I started to use alchemy it took me only a couple of tries but I was trying to save neurostimulants and bombs for later). With 7AP you can't hit and run, can't find chokepoints (because before you'll get there you'll be dead, or someone of your team will) and in general you're handicapped.
But like I said it's lots of fun and poses quite a challenge. It's not iron-man level of course but for those who finished the game a couple of times a build like this will be definitely enjoyable. To my surprise, I defeated some very tough opponents quite easily (e.g. Scaurus on first try) but that's because followers made most of the work. Solo a build like this would be impossible.
In the end I've defeated all opponents quite easily and finished the last fights after 3 reloads (reloaded the beginning and just hid my character because even with my block at 7 due to very low stats my defence was almost non-existent and had to resort to this to survive the whole thing). The whole team was super powerful and to be honest, I don't find Yngvar better than Marcus and for best results, assuming you want a 4 person team, I wouldn't put more than 8 points into charisma. Marcus and Roxana are superb, Yngvar is roughly equal to Marcus but because he uses shield he shouldn't wield a two-handed weapon and can't utilize axes to its full extent.
Anyway, I've finished my run in 14-18 hours (don't remember exactly how much time I had at the time I started playing but it was over 60 hours, 66 h I think) and the hardest fights were Reinard one (wouldn't have beaten it without high alchemy), Emperor one and with 3 constructs near the machine.
