Elden Ring for me.
I mean, both companies have been selling the same game for decades, but I prefer From's autism over that of PB.
Dawg, I wish PB were still selling Gothic 2. Alas.
Elden Ring for me.

Releasing right after Elden Ring truly is a bad call though. I've still pre-ordered ELEX II GOTY 2022-3022, but it's probably going to be sitting on the digital shelf for a month or two until I'm done with ER and I'm sure it's going to negatively affect their total sales.
I blame THQ Nordic they are buying companies, and forcing theirs games to suck.Releasing right after Elden Ring truly is a bad call though. Fukushima gets tsunami. Germany goes full retard and closes all nuclear plants.
Russia invades Ukraine. Germany turns off their own gas pipeline.
Elden Ring is released. Germany releases more jank ... cause they like to suffer.
Risen 2's combat was possibly one of, if not the worst combat I've ever seen in a ARPG. The combat in Elex was bad, but at least it didn't feel like an afterthought like the one from Risen 2.ELEX had their worst combat system since Gothic 3 (not an easy feat, coming from Risen 2 and 3) and I have yet to see anything that can convince me that ELEX 2 will be an improvement.
If there weren't shotguns in Risen 2 I wouldn't had been able to force myself to beat it.Risen 2's combat was possibly one of, if not the worst combat I've ever seen in a ARPG. Not if you used a firearm
Imagine being the Cyberpunk devs, stoked that people are going to finally get to play an upgraded version of your game. Maybe this is it! This is your second chance! Redemption! Player counts will go up, and you will have salvaged the name of CDPR. Maybe some game journos will take a second crack at the game, and write a glowing review.
Then Elden Ring comes along and shits all over your hopes and dreams, just covers them in slippery, gooey poop.
So a lot of dude butt and no elf or laura... er chick butt?.....And the fact that both Elden Ring and ELEX 2 are 3rd person action RPGs with weighty, lethal combat is another problem with such a close release date.
Until you realise the difficulty is turned down to casual. Elex 2 wins by default just because it actually will have some difficulty.Elex was great and I generally enjoy all of PB's games. That said it ain't even close...Elden Ring looks to be a masterpiece and all the previous Dark Souls games are just amazing. From Software is simply operating on another level with their games and crafting some of the finest experiences imaginable. The combat, items, exploration, boss battles, light (but awesome) story telling, atmosphere...10/10.

1% is missing from the sum, so Kingcomrade is hiding in this poll somewhere and getting votes, even if we can't see him.
If a Critical Codex Consensus Poll is evenly split down to the decimal, does that make it a Kingcomrade by default?
