Here you go:
This is not a store I know of and considering its a website, its likely a scam.
Here you go:
I got clipped by an allied ship mid-combat, shields down, hull @ 20%. Repair cost of my asp: 150k. Good thing I had 3 missions to kill ships @ 40k each and 20 vouchers. After refuel, repair and rearm I barely broke even. For combat zones, I'd go with the viper over the cobra for sure. Repair costs are lower, combat speed is better and most importantly, the weapon placement beats the cobra by a mile if you're fighting up close. I'd recommend a pair of fixed lasers and a cannon or rail gun for hull damage.
Mortmal sure is picky. Dollars to doughnuts, if all ships and equipment were unlocked for all players from the start, he wouldn't like that, either. The "progreshun" crowd certainly wouldn't like it. I may be mistaken, but I seem to recall Mortmal whining at great length about "griefing" in EVE Online.
Who on Earth only does PvE and then complains that it takes time to earn ships? You don't like being shot at, you don't like trading or mining to earn ships... if you like to explore, that's not too costly. What's the angle?
The design philosophy of Elite: Dangerous doesn't really include profit parity between different activities; in my view, that's a good thing, because the aforementioned is a heavily declined approach to designing games.
If you only pick one career, the game might become boring, that's why you have to mix it up from time to time.Mining ? its boring, i wouldnt do that kind of job, why would i do that in a game.. Exploration? not profitable, and never seen anything new .Trading ? only profitable way and only way to see some progress . But again its dull , boring , i was making fun of people playing euro truck simuator, but i fear its even less exciting
Ya, I really wanna try out the python to see how much of a difference large-sized weapon mounts make. Unless it's a huge step up, I'm probably going back to sidey or viper for fighting.
So I think my next ship after sidey will be the "only a mother could love this face" Adder. Anyone had any experience with this duckling?
sidey for combat over the eagle? looking at stats, i really see no reason why somebody would pick the former over the latter for combat, other than $$$, but from what i understand you're at a point where the difference between the 2 means very little? am i missing something here?
It pretty much looks and flies like a minivan. It's not all that maneuverable, but it's got a single Class 2 weapon hardpoint and 2 Class 1s, so it has more firepower than an Eagle. It's a fine multi-purpose vessel on the low end.
Why the fuck did they inflate it so much compared to the concept? The concept looked spiffy and was very close to the original, now it looks like a hydrocephalic baby."only a mother could love this face" Adder.
There is now a PC-exclusive cockpit-based starship piloting game featuring smooth performance, slick graphics, proper support for head tracking, proper support for HOTAS and other 6doF devices, excellent keybinding, quasi-Newtonian physics and, most importantly, excellent and nuanced flight and combat mechanics in which you can fight with or against your friends.
Some people are complaining about it.
Reflect on that for a minute or so. Let us observe a moment of silence for the regrettable loss of sanity and perspective that has occurred since the turn of the century.
Is this for real? Because so far you are the only one who is complaining about this? Are you sure the problem is not with your connection?and open performance is so bad for me that i can practically read a book whenever i do a fsd transition or jump. but yeah. the horrible complaining.

What about the slow as fuck turning rates? Sitting in a siedewinder is like flying a capital ship. Only rolling has good speed. I could live with slow turning left and right and relying there on rolling but up and down is soooo slow, too.
there are ranks with the individual navies which require special missions to complete, reputation with the general sides, systems, and insystem factions, and so on. but it's not really about progress, it's about doing what's fun (fighting, exploring, or mining if you are a weirdo). What does "progress" consist of in this game? More monies to buy bigger ships? Better rewards per quest? Is there some sort of a level-up or a buildable reputation system as well? Bosses to kill? What can you ultimately buy with all the money, when you already have the biggest and baddest ship?
I could buy it, but I'm so far put off by the online shit.

That's on purpose. You may have noticed that you have to plan your maneuvers in advance and that aiming requires a lot of finesse, since you essentially aren't allowed to "move your viewport" 1:1.
You are experiencing decline withdrawal. It will pass with practice and experience.
Did you play Evochron Mercenary or I-War 2? Waaaay better flight mechanics which allow a lot more tactics / maneuvering.
