their hp. you can subtarget modules to destroy them, for example targetting power plants to kill anacondas... though it seems kinda pointless with the exception of bigass ships, since normally the hull will give up first, especially when you try to target something useful, like fsd.Is there a manual for this game? FFS I can't believe there are no tooltips or official documentation for this game, when it is riddled with special terms and whatnot. What is integrity for example in case of modules?

How do you do it? I also do it by turning of everything and gliding in with flight assist off.man, had i known how friggin easy it is into stations without getting scanned, i'd have started doing illegal missions a long time ago. all those people needlessly turning off thrusters and flight assist made it look so hard when they crashed into the stations...
I downloaded it earlier and it contains shit. It is basicly about "duhhh, you use the throttle to accelerate". It says nothing about the more intricate stuff. Is there a manual for this game? How can you be such a fanboy and not know about the Sidewinder Owner's Manual?

Of course, it's not available right now.
I don't need it for flying the ships, but there are some stuff in outfitting and mission resolutions that should be explained a little more.Nigga you don't need a fucking manual for dis shit like what da fuk nigga
Nobody says anything about it because it is not working. It would certainly be nice to know what the faction states actually mean when you turn in a mission. Lowering economic bust seems all fine and dandy, but what the fuck does it actually do? The Dynamic Events system is the core selling point of gameplay in human space, and we still know little to nothing about it except intentionally vague statements from the developers.
Also -- lulz! less than 60 fps!
if you want to play super sekrit agent (or have shitty heat issues):How do you do it? I also do it by turning of everything and gliding in with flight assist off.
Cool, I will try it this way. Although I have to admit, I feel like a boss when I'm turning everything off, and glide into the station with 8% of heat signiture.if you want to play super sekrit agent (or have shitty heat issues):How do you do it? I also do it by turning of everything and gliding in with flight assist off.
fly to the front of the station, in a wide arc if you dropped at the ass end. position yourself in front of the opening at 6-7k distance. ask for docking permission, turn off all weapons, scanners, shield, fsd, and whatnot, leave thrusters on, set engine to 4 pips, wait until you cool down a little, then go full speed towards opening, at 5-4k distance trigger on silent running, when you're about to reach station, lower thrust to optimal range, go into station, land in a nice single motion, turn off silent running shortly before you land.
or don't play sekrit agent variant and just fly towards station at 4 engine pips, at 5k enable silent running, go into station at full thrust if hole is free, or optimal thrust if it's clogged by some idiot or npc (or you suck at steering or have a bigass ship), inside, a little bit from the opneing, turn silent running off.
the only thing you need to do is enable silent running at some point, and do the whole thing moderately fast. even if they start scanning you, you still have time to move out of range.
similarily, if you leave a station with illegal goods, either boost out with 4 pips to get ouside the 4k or so range, or enable silent running before going through opening.
that's for cobra with a b plant, which has good speed and pretty sweet heat management. adjust accordingly for other ships, like firing heat sinks off before you accelerate towards station and whatnot...
thing is, at no point in time do you actually need to turn off thrusters/flight assist and lose maneuverability. even the larger print you have with them is usually not enough for npcs to pick up on (i did over a dozen missions that way), and even if they pick on you, i think the risk of losing ship when doing it with flight assist off translates into larger overall loss than fines.
Tried it with a success. Although it cost half of my hull, since i missed the entrance by a tiny bit. :D So I smashed into the wall with 300m/s. :D Thankfully it wasn't a full frontal impact, I just scratched the upper wall, so I survived with 58% hull. But it works as you said. Lined up in front of the entrance at 7 kms. 4 pips on engines, full boost towards the entrance, Silent running at 5 kms and zooming through the entrance.yeah, try and report whether it actually works or i've just been lucky.
No, I was too afraid that I will get scanned so I just stormed in like a madman.did you switch to optimal a bit before you reach the entrance struts? should give you enough of a slowdown and maneuvering to not ram into anything when going in, including station parts and outgoing ships that aren't lakon 9.
