Pointing and laughing.
The standoff was still going up to the point where I won the game, with that one Dreadnaught having killed probably thousands of enemies.
Reminds me of the excellent novel The Gripping Hand.

Oh. Homeworld then? That's cool too. Downloadan.SoaSE is more like rts in space
Unfortunately the 0% tax rate made the planet AI go crazy and it converted all my (already exploited) planets to finance exploitation.
No it's not Homeworld, it's RTS. Homeworld required some 3D movement and other stuff. This is a standard RTS in space.Oh. Homeworld then? That's cool too. Downloadan.SoaSE is more like rts in space
It's not RTS in space because I hate rts. You then ask the rts fanatics around here and they'll tell you it's too slow. The RTSers do dominate MP though.Oh. Homeworld then? That's cool too. Downloadan.SoaSE is more like rts in space

Can't see why. It certanly had more to do with everything - there were choices on terraforming planets, choices on habiting space, choices in random events, ect. It lacked dynamics when playing culturaly or such, pressing End Turn to see your neat colored borderedges growing, but building overall was't bad.The much despised Gal Civ II(here at least)
How do you feel about paying for the privilege to betatest? But is it worth the 20++ euro goldz spent?
Nah, it's good for what it is.Judging by everything i read this game sounds like a huge letdown
