Enjoy the game!
Hard to say. I travel around a lot, save quests for when I meet the optimal requirements, and reload constantly to try different solutions. And there is actually something that looks like a Doctor check in the second settlement, but it's only used to bypass a 10 cap expenditure. Meanwhile, the speech checks in the same area require 70 to 80% skill and earn you several hundred caps as well as skipping a major battle.
And back to study, it seems it requires a mouse and doesn't run on notebooks's touchpad.

Strange i play on notebook with touchpad, everything seems okay.
Anyone figure out how to calm down the crazy biting dog in Rat Hole?
Hey Bubbles I'm playing this now too. Based on what you've seen, does the itemization support a thrown weapons character?
There's a couple of suggestions from another users on gog forums, give it a try:"failure initializing input device"
Are you running Linux by chance? There's a couple of hints in Resurrection readme explaining how to make sfall work properly under Linux. On startup, fallout crashes with a 'Failure initializing input devices' error
- In ddraw.ini, in the [input] section, change BackgroundKeyboard to 1 and see if that fixes the error. If it doesn't change BackgroundMouse to 1 too.
Also, anybody else get the feeling that the designers wanted you to prefer Julian by far?

I don't want to spoil the quest here, but the initial setup - one side wants ammo, the other wants medicine, one side is comprised almost entirely of raging junkies, the other is relatively normal - also seemed pretty clear cut to me.
Nope, windows 7. Tried all this, didn't work. Gotta buy a mouse then. There's a couple of suggestions from another users on gog forums, give it a try:"failure initializing input device"
