I knew he had to be a manlet with that voice. 6'2" Google THAT IS SOME BULLSHIT
Now if I could remember the name of the guy that plays the Codex lil' Napoleon I would @ him to this thread
At least they are trying to be honest
Nice to see Bethesda still has a raging hard-on for the Brotherhood of Steel.
It all finally makes sense: it's not the writing that's retarded, it's that every character in the game is supposed to have this trait - including the protagonist! And that's why the game is the way it is.At least they are trying to be honest
You're right but then you could go a bit further and just convince yourself the game isn't boring and when you get bored, you are excited at this unexpected turn of events.Convincing yourself that a spoiler is false is a good way of psychologically overcoming the shock of it, allowing you to enjoy the game.
Then when you reach the actual spoiled event you can be surprised again.

Crom.
Oh boy.
What is meant by "synthetic" in Bethesda's Fallout? Is it your sons brain in a robo-body? Your son with a body full of nanobots and augmentations? or is it a robot that thinks its your son?
Of course, Bethesda animations are probably on the level of synths with skin, so it won't be hard to mistake them for humans. An android that can perfectly blend as a human because... reasons. I've seen images of synths without skin and I can't believe someone would mistake that for a human no matter how much cosmetics or fake skin you put on them. I suspect a Mass Effect 2 shit-tier level plot, where villains and people go full genocide but doing a normal medical check up (or something like that) to know if someone is human or not would do the trick.
Because research also shows that when people genuinely find something worse after spoilers, it's because the twist or the contents of the spoiler make the story worse on their own, not the fact they were told beforehand. I don't know about the methodology, though, so who knows how they reached these conclusions.
It already happened, there was actually a leaked screenshot that said something akin to "I'm looking for my son, pretty young kid, have you seen him?"I thought the joke from the get go for this game would be "I'm looking for my son, middle aged guy, have you seen him?".
