Just now noticed (in my own picture, ffs) they brought back the bar at the bottom of the screen that points out all the nearby locations. Heaven forbid you miss something.
From the Digital Foundry video;
I don't care what platform you're on, that stuff to the right is ugly.
Why did the console peasant cross the road?
To render the buildings on the other side XD

Don't know about that rumour, but looking at FO3, I can understand how it got started. The game would make more sense that way.I think people give Bethesda too much credit by assuming "they originally wanted to make a game 30 years after the apocalypse" or whatever. No, they didn't, they just had this idea in their head of what a stereotypical post-apocalypse is "supposed" to look like and they stuck to it.
Making a game in the actual post-apocalypse would be way too ambitious for them. That means dealing with people who still remember the pre-war world, and all kinds of stuff that was never part of Fallout.
Yeah, there seems to be a problem where textures don't always stream in. I've seen it a couple of times.I'm not sure but this looks like a bug that's been occuring for me in Bethesda's engine since Oblivion. Where sometimes, a part of the scenery will just stay all low-texturey (I guess it's a texture used from a long distance) even when you walk up to it.
If it is, great work on not fixing that yet I suppose. Otherwise, that's a shitty goddamn texture.
What you truly don't get is that people that play with mods are small minority AND therefore not the target group of Bethesda.What I truly don't get about Bethesda is the fact that they seem to learn far too few things from the modding community.
Looking back to Oblivion, Fallout 3, NV, and Skyrim most of the popular mods (excluding nudes) are the one that add some kind of deeper system/harder overall experience/food&drink needs/good questline or writing.
Sure, they got (what seemed to be) interesting weapon crafting and town building, both big parts of FO3 modding. But the "Hey let's just make the game simple so toddler could play it" mentality doesn't really make sense.

You’re not locked into a single relationship, and can actually maintain more than one without getting judged or upsetting anybody.

25GB download, it's over four times as big as Skyrim

hah, I love it when they go for the join date argument. Also, someone considering himself "old" on a forum, as in "wiser" or "smarter". Does a good job to demonstrate mental age if nothing else.Ah, another retarded newfag trying hard to be edgy.
So you don't even read what you fucking link. That mod only changes values of the existing mechanic. Also, looks like you haven't played FO3, why are you pretending that you know what you're talking about then?
And your idea for locational damage is autistic, and wouldn't work at all. That doesn't mean that locational damage is a bad idea. You newfag turds should take the reading comprehension perk before posting anything on the Codex.
Considering how it looks, the FPS should never go below 60 with a PC like that. Anything below 60 in an FPS is definitely "running like shit".Wow, seriously? I'm so used to Bethesda games being woefully optimized that I assumed the trend would continue. If may look like shit, but at least it won't run like it too.
