I am confident they will still find a way. After all, Ubisoft is the only dev that has even less basic knowledge of guns than Bethesda, which already a tripping hazard level of bar to match.
They consider helix magazines grenade launchers, all bullets having struck primers is a sad running gag and the makarov pistol is the best sniper rifle in the game.
Even tho they believe bullet drop beyond 10 meters is so severe you need to put the iron sight way above your targets head to hit. :hahano:

It's actually quiet hillarious if you imagine some derpy crosseyed Ubisoft dev holding a pistol upside down trying to figure out: "Guns. How do these things work????"
In that case the iron sights actually work how they do in the game. :hahano:

I've gotten the game and somehow stumbled out of the main story, got most of the guns, was turned off by Libertad's - no, Dani's, weird look.

Why yes, officer, I'm a normal citizen. Don't mind me.

What the fuck is this? Why does Dani go all Fallout 4? No one else looks like this. Libertad just looks like a bunch of dudes, and in the old concept art, they were apparently going to be more Punk. Either works better than this. When it's just Dan, it feels off, ya know?

I mean, the game is beautiful, the gunplay is alright. But I hate how the FND always respawns, the four rebel factions look the same outside of their leaders and quests, and ultimately it became a slog and I gave up around 50 hours.

I can probably get some mods in to curb FND spawning and whatnot and force myself through it, cause the map and island is amazing, but everyone feels whacky and the gravitas of a civil war is non-existent. Oh wow they shot my friend - forgotten about. Oh wow they captured this rebel, who was with me, destroying two ships, with no FND forces in sight...? and now he's dead? And forgotten. The four factions having their ideological bases is fine.

Monteros - Agricultural/Agrian somewhat conservative base,
The city kids - those urban protester types, though there's TWO of them? And one's a LGBT pair, but I didn't give a fuck about them to begin with from the intro to care about them to pine for the lgbt struggle on a conservative christian-socialist soaked caribbean island. I actually know what that fucking entails, and yea sure it sucks that the island has a shitty attitude towards them but guess what! That's the world, most of the world isn't liberal or comfy, and again if I cared more overall maybe I would care for them too.
The Legends - washed up old Commies/hard old left types,
and Libertad which is...'we're the good guys!!!!'

If these factions actually felt like they were doing something on their own, a gripe I've had with FC since FC2, if these groups were distinct more in their looks, if the island felt like it was actually in a six+ party civil war, maybe I would had loved this game, given it more of a chance. But right now...?

Glad I got it on the cheapest sale possible.
