Anyway, I was more wondering why she's two handing a dagger.
I believe it to be an Ōdachi.
Fine fine, but at least tell me her name is Bunniroth and if you fight her final form, One-Eared Angel plays.
Is made for cutting. Actually that is a blade you can redeem in stormblood using tomestones that you can gwt doing dungeon roulettes fates and more activities.
Well, the one thing I can say about FFXIV is if you like the cosmetics side of online gaming, it has you covered almost any way you want to go and some of its designs are pretty great.

Ff has a lot of fun things to do. Has a lot of different activities. Challenges minigames game modes. The game has a lot of different content to play with.

How much grinding is necessary to stop being a little bitch in this game?

Like in the narrative? You're the Warrior of Light! Which means... you nod a lot and do what everyone tells you to.
In terms of character strength in combat
Depends on class, I suppose. I didn't find it to be too challenging for the most part, PVEwise. PVP is all about focus blasting the other team, so... eh. PVP in that game is pretty trash. It's focused on PVE and cosmetics. Not necessarily in that order.

This game has a level cap of 90 you can raise every job (class) to level 90 it has not timegating mechanics all the stuff you do is actual content. Game opens up early so you have no need to rush to endgame content. On pve may vary. Generally normal dungeon are easily done. Some dungeons and trials have extreme savage and ultimate versions. Those content vary from challenging to absolute super hard.

Found this guide that's quite expansive, you can take advantage of the timestamps.

That is a well done guide. Doesn't cover crafting but indeed shows plenty of gamemode related to combat as well gives an insight on how the game is like.

PvP is absolutely just kinda there, with no real effort. As long as the game's netcode and tick rate is the way it is, PvP will always be a distraction when you're bored (or really want something from the Wolves' Den).

Nothing more fun than pressing Guard and dying to Marksman's Spite. Or the inverse. Pressing Spite because it takes 2s to go off and you time it so their Guard should drop by that point and it doesn't matter because it snapshots at the time you pressed the button.

I see cat people, rabbit people, rat people, I don't see a game.

The game is seasonal. People buy when a new expansion drops, play through the story by themselves, maybe grind up another job or two through dungeons until they get bored, then unsub. If people do stick around then it's because they are ERPing in their houses.

So not like grinding like a mofo like I do in euotopia? You can't really twerk or erp in a little 2D trailer park. I've got 10 more alts lined up to do the 1k level up. Just swap out betwen them every 25 levels.

Alts in ff are pointless, as one character can be everything, you can swap to whatever combat/crafting/gathering class whenever you want.

As much as I truly hate 14, the one thing I'll give it credit for is their handling of multiple jobs on a single character. Especially when you factor in how many games are a pain in the fucking ass to play alts in due to lack of account-wide progression or being extremely selective about what is and isn't account-wide.

That sounds horrible.

the first step to recover from altoholism is to recognize you have a problem

Who has a problem? Sometimes you want to play a sexy elf, sometimes a lion man in assless chaps, and still other times a hot dick girl cat girl.

I'm just a roleplayer, dammit! I need roles!
