Might get Machine for Pigs for $10 but nothing else today lighting my fire. Glad the sale is here though.

Free Fallout before Bethesda takes it back is amusing. Wonder if GOG will lose them entirely.

If you have the games before any potential removal from sale, you'll still be able to download them as many times as you wish.

Aww, it's a final "Fuck you" from Herve to Bethesda. Devaluating the games they're about to take possession of.
Rather ironic, considering he's the guy who sold them the franchise for a pittance - after all but destroying it.

I'm glad I never got the fallouts before now, always wanted to have them on my list but couldn't be arsed to buy them because I've completed them so many times in the past.

Bethesda does give Daggerfall and Arena away DRM-free for free on their website. So they do seem to support DRM free when they no longer see the games as profitable or worth supporting.

I could see them doing that with the Fallouts. Unless, they have some greater plans of rehalling them and charging for special editions or something.

I could also see them doing a "complete Fallout Collection" Box Set kind of like their Complete TES Box set. If they are willing to put Arena and Daggerfall in a box set with their original manuals and maps and shit I could maybe see them doing that with the fallouts, which would be kind of cool for object fetishists.

At anyrate, I highly doubt they are going to put them in a vault and sit on them forever.

And yet, Arx Fatalis.

Hm, maybe just because the term has not expired yet?

It seems that Arkane made some separate deal with GOG that somehow didn't become null and void when they were acquired by Bethesda in 2010. The details are a mystery...though I wonder what would happen if Crooked Bee tried to ask Harvey or Raph about it on Twitter.

Some people like redundancy in their backup systems, I am sure many of us have multiple copies of the games on disc but did not bat an eye at buying them on GoG or Steam again. Don't see why his actions are worthy of mockery beyond sending monies to the filthy frenchman who ruined the series. Kind of sad but giving money to Herve is kind of preferable to giving it to Zenimax.

Expeditions Conquistador is now at $9.99 - 50% off.
And yeah, it's the first time I see the GOG servers going down. But no wonder with some of their most popular games given away for free instead of $9.99 each.

Fucking free Fallouts. It criples the site, you cannot do anything on it. I bought IWD2, but before the sale was processed, the site crashed. Result: the money was payed, but I didn't get the game. And now I'm trying to send a message to support, but can't because this Fallout freeride crashes it constantly.

Edit: Wow, this was fast. I managed to send the message, and they replied and helped me in 2 minutes.

Wow, Fallout series for free? That's pretty awesome, and I've never played Tactics before.

Redundancy in backup systems? Haha... okay. There's a difference between getting it on GOG or Steam so you don't have to fuck with the disc anymore and getting it on GOG and Steam so... uh... I have no fucking idea why anyone would ever do that. That's the point.

Yeah, especially Steam. Though I broke down and installed it after all - tricked by Gamersgate which gave me only Steam keys.
