Divinity: Original Sin
considering what I have heard of it.
You... you haven't played it?

RECTIFY. NOW:x

Summoning DraQ to burn you to a crisp if you don't.

And the only man allowed to make Anachronox 2 is Tom Hall, based on all the documents he already had for it back in 2001.

I'm playing it now. :p Controls are kinda awkward and combat is not the best but the writing is entertaining at least, and the art direction is excellent despite the old tech.

How are actually the older Tomb Raider games from Core Design?
Played 1-4. 1-3 are solid games, I didn't like 4 (new engine, old gameplay, monotonous palette (brown)). Games from an ancient era, when even bluckbusters were based on actual gameplay, instead of cutscenes, gay sex and hype only (today).

Yes. One of the best voiceovers in gaming history. Great music in BO1 (not on GoG yet), very good 3d gameplay in SR1 and SR2.

Bros really quick question:

Should I get the 2 TR bundles? Or should I go with the 3 LOK games?

I only played a demo of TR2 and one for LOK back when they came out, but that's it. Which ones have less shit controls?

I'd get Legacy of Kain as it feels more substantial and carries a very bleak atmosphere with it if you're into that aesthetic. Check some playthrough vids on Youtube and take a gander at which appeals to you more.
Well, yeah LOK does look more interesting atmosphere-wise. On the other hand I really like tomb raiding and Lara's ass is hotter than Raziel's.

Gah!! these choices! Guess I'm gonna apply the scientifically proven method of coin flipping.

Going back to Tomb Raider I recall trying it a few years ago and saw that it didn't hold its age well namely in the size and composition of the arena of environment as it's very 'closed in', if you've ever played an action game from the PSX days recently you'll know what I mean. LoK gets around this by being an open world instead of mission based alongside its barren ambiance multiplying that factor even more.

Ok I caved in to my inner fag and got the vampire games.

I installed the first game and watched the intro. AWESOME! Normally I would view such intros as either over-the-top or cheezy or tryng-2-hard but this one somehow worked.

I also managed to play this a bit last night. The environments are kinda bare but other than that everything seems good. Also the camera hasn't annoyed me. Yet. We'll see when I get to the platforming puzzles.

Platforming puzzles aren't too hard in Soul Reaver. A few annoying oens but most of the time they do not give much trouble. They are however very painful in Defiance, mostly because of the poor camera that changes angles when you are in the middle of a jump. I wonder how this made it past testing; maybe someone dearly wanted the camera to be cinematic at the expense of gameplay.

Ah, Spycraft. I remember this game being hyped up during the EDGY period of the FMV mid-90's. I never played it though.

Well, that took a huge chunk off my wish list.

How is Torrin's Passage? I liked point and click chick games back in the day but can't stand most modern ones. Never played this one though.

Most everything else interesting I already own.

An old friend of mine actually bought that. It's childish fun. Same vibe as King's Quest 7.

Cool! Is Zork Nemesis and Gran Inquisitor recommended?
