Are Dungeon Siege 1 and 2 worth playing? 3 is shit. I grabbed both Deus Exes for 10 Euro, which I think is a steal.

Dungeon siege 1 is good with the Ultima 5 lazarus and Ultima 6 project mods.

Well, they are self-playing hack n slash games. I found the concept interesting and DS2 quite good (for what it is).
I tried DS1 again 5 years ago, and found that it hadn't aged well IMHO *shrug*
Both should be played with expansions.

I remember installing Lazarus few years ago and it needed add-on (I know cos' I had original of basic game and had to pira... eeerrr... find DLC on alternative way to install Lazarus).

I just tried them with the Steam version,U6 Project work fine as is but with Lazarus you just need to fix the shortcut destination the way the guy mentions here

I'm picking this up as I've had damn issues with DS1 on my new laptop. It doesn't say if the add-ons for 1-2 are in there.

The pre-Walking Dead ones weren't "good" really, but I did enjoy them for nostalgia reasons. Especially the Monkey Island one, which had shit controls and a shit structure but it was fucking Monkey Island.

Well, this version of DS just drops to desktop. I will have to figure out something more than just changing ini screen size. Had a similar issue with a different install of this with aranna. I mainly picked it up for DSIII. It is lazy that they didnt include both add-ons and a configure menu for modern OS machines. That usually annoys me. Go figure.
