That argument might sway me if PB didn't take a turn into the gutter in recent years.

I liked Twitcher 1 for the booby cards, the storyfaggotry and the atmosphere. Considering that they removed the cards from Twitcher 2, should I bother with this installment, or can I safely skip it?
storyfagging and atmosphere are still there.

I liked the story aspects a lot more, but ymmv.

I really liked the nudie cards collection, too. :(

They put some incredibly embarassing 3D sex cutscenes in place of the boobie cards. Be sure not to play TW2 with anyone around.

I understand Divine Divinity (what a stupid name) and Beyond Divinity are considered good Diablo clones. I like Diablo 1 and 2, so I'll purchase the two first Divinity games.
But what about Divinity 2? Is it any good?

Such eloquence.

Yeah he should have posted the power rangers thing instead.

That aside I would say pick up Divine Divinity (the publishers forced the addition of divine to the name based on market research :retarded:) and Divinity 2 which is pretty good game minus forced dragon portions of the game. I would skip Beyond Divinity as I recall it was rushed out and it shows as the game pretty much all combat and lacking the charm of the first game.

That's hilarious, considering I didn't give the game a second glance in the store due to the stupid name.

Oh well, I've bought them all now.

Once you get past the first five (or is it seven?) level dungeon in Divine Divinity it turns into an RPG and isn't really like Diablo except for the combat in some ways.

Avoid Beyond Divinity. I got it hoping for a worthy sequel to DD1, but was gravely disappointed. They took away the awesome exploration and storyline that made the first game a classic and focused on dull as fuck hack and slash combat instead with a worse interface because of your second playable character.

Divinity 2 is well worth getting. Beautiful, well-voiced and actually challenging at times.

What about Geneforge 1-5, same level with Avadon?

Geneforge is much more highly regarded than Avadon on this site.

But it doesn't have a permanent party at all, so it depends what kind of a game you are looking for.

It's worth researching a bit to see if it sounds appealing to you.

Some price drops on a number of games including Red Baron, Simon the Sorcerer and others can be found here. A mixed bag overall between good and mediocre. Some good finds though, with King's Bounty down to $6.99 and Myst down to $3.99:

Edit: Ummm... I don't know why it's happening but the link I just created is going to the Sanitarium sale. Just access it through the homepage link at the RPGCodex header.

Edit 2: Fixed! Thanks Infinitron!

You need to paste the link as plain text, on a new line. Delete the original one completely.

If you copy/pasted from my post it's likely because I put the tag as the link text but the sale as the actual link.

Bought Sanitarium. I had the PB version but I can't find the installers anymore. Using the Codex referral of course.

Broken Sword 4 lowered to $7 is tempting. Never played it.

Own the rest that I would want. Glad to see GOG offering more varied pricing though.

Also man I don't know how the referral link works. Now I just copied the actual referral part of it and spammed it to every link in gog, even in check-out. Does it register that you are a harbinger of incline as you click on the link once and then you don't have to do shit about it?

Pretty sure you just need to click the link once. I appreciate the dedication, though :obviously:
