By the way, it's scary how many great IP's Square Enix owns. I don't even trust those guys to make good jRPG's, which is supposed to be the thing they specialize in.

They should. The sequel is my favourite, nice puzzles, magic potions making and lovely Zanthia as the main hero.
The labirynth involving fire berries is painful experience, something like straight from KQ V.
