Have not watched it yet, but this guy made a great Wing Commander retrospective a while ago.

Also, the latest 9 hour Fallout retrospective from Noah Gervasomething is titled as it is a reupload, but it's actually a totally fresh take. I'm like 30 minutes in and it was quite impressive. I always feel like I don't like him, like he's too pretencious, but he is a good writer when you start to actually listen.

It was ok but kind of dumb in that you could test your AI companions for infection, get a negative result and then a few seconds walking later they would hit a trigger and immediately morph into the Thing without ever being out of your sight.

Finished watching and one major goof - he's talking about one part where you can soft-lock yourself and compares it to LucasArts point'n'click adventures, where missing one item at the beginning locks your from ending.
Two powerhouses making these games and he picked wrong one.

And good lord I've played a chunk of old and awkward old games in my life, but just watching this gives me some pain.
It's one of these games from "not coming back and finish".
