You don't seem to understand that this game is targeted at American zoomers, preferably latino or black. Boomers or Gen X, Y are out of the question.

I'm curious about the gameplay itself. Leaked materials show slight progress compared to 2012, but we haven't seen everything yet.

Do you somehow think it'll be anything else but a generic tps with one gimmick?

The only surprise here is that the chick doesn't look like a man and/or potato, though I think they probably nerfed her compared to the leak version.

You’ll probably be able to make them both look like whatever.

Red Dead Redemption 2 brought back the San Andreas system of being about to make your character skinny, fat, and more muscular. The system is attached to stuff you’ll almost never use, and it seems to be harder to shift things than in San Andreas, so it’s a whole huge system that’s easy to never notice, (I don’t even think they talked it up before release) but it’s there. And I think it’ll probably be in this game too. The leak had a whole bunch of different animations just for how characters hold guns as they level up. I wouldn’t be totally surprised if this game brought back all that San Andreas stuff since they’ve already got aspects of it in their last game.

From those leaks I wouldn’t been surprised if the leveling aspect return to San Andreas levels, and I wouldn’t be surprised if VR was something they were implementing in some big way.

....fast cars flying through the air and screeching round corners, guns blasting, violence, cool new-wave tones, stylish electro beats etc.... Scarface, Miami Vice, Casino etc. all rolled into one on a live-fast die-young high rolling adventure.

GTA6? People on a muddy beach and a gay-ass love story, big woop. Woke AND boring as fuck.

To me it seems like the GTA VI trailer is really shying away from guns, reckless driving and explosions. Straight busta! Maybe they will show more on further trailers. I personally stopped playing their games after they botched the PC port of GTA IV and never fixed it. Fuck those cunts.

While the Vice City trailer does have better music, the two trailers aren’t all that different. Speedboats going around, a car whipping around a corner, some type of club setting. The Vice City trailer actually does a worse job showing off the game than this trailer does, (it mostly seems to be comprised of the main characters shooting into the sky and showing a car do the exact same thing in different places) it just does so while cut to a better song.

Watching the trailer all I could think was "this song is god awful", does Tom Petty sound that retarded in all of his songs?

They already established a precedent for dishonesty with San Andreas, where you had a criminal protagonist who was a victim of evil cops. Then you had Nico in GTA IV, who was a pretty good guy who occasionally dabbled in mass murder. Good GTA protagonists are sociopaths with not a lot of backstory, but obviously that ship has sailed.

Your Tiktok prediction is probably closest to what'll happen. There'll be some preachy SJW stuff, but probably too unfocused to discern a real agenda.

I liked the trailer well enough. I like the seeming move away from the retarded levels of obvious satire in GTA5 and towards more small scale crime than massive multimillion dollar heists.

One concern is the how well the relationship between the couple works, I doubt players will enjoy getting browbeaten for the entire game if they're going for an "uneven" relationship. These kinds of games are to a large extent power fantasies and I doubt it's any significant number of guy's power fantasies to be a browbeaten simp.

I guess we'll see in the upcoming trailers.
