Am I the only one who plays all of my characters fresh without importing items from other runs?

No, I'm like this too.
Although my excuse is that I never bother saving the to stash in the first place or hardly even use them in general.

yup. Unless i find some interesting item to build around it. But then only that item.
Moreover i mostly delete my characters after i am done playing them along with loot on them.

For me its a few things:

1. I don't level characters to max, so any of the top-tier legendaries are useless when I'll never get to level 94, and even level 75s are basically useless.
2. While leveling its hard to gauge what's useful as the leveling pace is fairly quick and most items aren't useful for more than, say, 3 hours of gameplay.
3. When I'm finished playing a character I never immediately start another to play. Instead it's 6 months later I'll think to come back and try something else. But when I do that I already have a character concept in mind and even if I saved equipment in the stash it's unlikely to match what my new character would want.

I do sometimes save some good early level +skills items, and a handful of level 50 legendaries. But mostly its the augments/components I carry over that are helpful. I guess that doesn't make my characters "clean", but its nice and convenient and flexible.

Does this game run decently on integrated graphics laptops? Does anyone know? I see it's on sale on Steam, and I'm considering getting it.

Yes.
I play this motherfucker on 2 laptops, one with an i5-5300U + HD Graphics 5500 (Win10) and another one with an i7-8650U + UHD Graphics 620 (Linux+Wine). Low settings but who cares, game runs almost flawlessly.

Well, you could become homeless and start from there (no id, no job, nothing in a new state or country [ditch the id and cash after you get there]).

There is death too i suppose for the ultra ultra hard core (start in hell or maybe the lake of fire). Maybe you get the darkest dark void cast away by god. Now we're teetering but without perma erasure of existence it will still feel like easy or god mode is on.

I believe he is implying the game is eternal if you fail or try to fail. I honestly never played the game even though I own a physical & digital copy of it. I like the Planescape setting for TTRPG or as reading material. I miss all the websites dedicated to it. Fucking 404 parking lots now.

Numanera? I pirated a lot of digital material but only passingly gave it a looksie despite being by Monte Cook.

Still wish I could play Planetscape Tournament. I imagine it as a Mortal Kombat style game, but RPG and fantasy influenced. Actually, there was this really niche shareware game in the early to mid 90s in that vein, which I was never able to rediscover later, despite playing it when I was a kid. Lots of stuff like that in the old shareware days, stuff that just vanished into the ether.

I suppose someone has just deleted the game upon dying.
Oh hai, someone called? I play all my games in GD (and TQ) as a self-imposed Hardcore. With the difference from the real HC: storing the items and money, running the infrequents, and giving out to other characters :P

The insurmountable beat'em'up of all time. Nothing will ever surpass this :P

Heh, One Must Fall: 2097. Did you play the shareware thing that predated this? I think they just called it One Must Fall at that point.
