Saves don't overwrite in 1.2.0.9.
Maybe it's a permissions issue and happens as well to the configuration file, Nixheb?
Saves... don't overwrite...... just discovered that ... o_O
Grimoire still delivers his sheer amount of butthurt I see ! :D

IN GRIMOIRE...
YOU CAN RIDE A KELPIE(It looks like a Seahorse, though.)
So Viata, are you speedscumming your way through or something?
My Aeorb sage died. Can't revive him. Can't even identify certain scrolls to find a Raise Dead one because he was my main identifier...
I'll come across one eventually. Maybe when the Temple guy restocks.
Any other way to revive Aeorbs?
Nah, this is in (redacted). I was killed by the (redacted), so I avoided their way for now. (redacted) killed my party if I don't give him the (redacted) I got, thus I only have this way to go for now.

Looks like waifu material to me
First romance confirmed!
What was wrong with the old way? I liked that. This is the silly 'Microsoft-wants-it-this-way'.From our very own Felipepepe:
Cleve moved the location of save, library and config files to "C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\GRIMOIRE" , but apparently didn't set the game to create that folder.
Go into the path above, create a "Grimoire" folder and copy the above files into it. It will run just fine.
Nope.My Aeorb sage died. Can't revive him. Can't even identify certain scrolls to find a Raise Dead one because he was my main identifier...

I just got the game today (complimentary IndieGogo backer steam key). So I started with version 1.2.0.9. There were issues with the game not starting correctly, but this was resolved by removing the duplicate save file in the installation folder.
I played the game for 90 minutes, and was having quite a bit of fun. But when I exited and returned to it, I found that the game I saved/overwritten over slot 1 was gone. I think what happened is that there is a bug where if you overwrite a save game slot, the game is not really saved.
I don't really consider that time all lost, since I was mostly learning the interface.
Hopefully these savegame issues will be resolved in a future build/version.
According to this thread: http://steamcommunity.com/app/650670/discussions/0/1471967615860892754/ with a lot of Munchkin tips for breaking Early game, you can steal a "Raise Dead" Spellbook from Argosyre. My Aeorb sage died. People on steam are losing their mind, Cleve created addicts with his game and now he put them all on withdrawal with the new broken update. Coincidence? Or is there a deeper reason?
I've stalked the youtube but haven't really found any negative videos about Grimoire (except for WearyAdventureer who was a secret fan all along). Can you provide examples of such videos?Originally posted by conway on steam:

At first they were SJWs and malcontents complaining because he's a neanderthal Nazi supremacist in a bunker. Then they pirated the game to make YT videos and bash the game.
Little did they know this was Cleve's plan all along, for now they are hopelessly addicted and he is about to drop the massive DRM anti-pirate banhammer. Remember, the first taste is always free.....

Just save in new slots.
Then you run out of slots - delete previous saves.
That's easy. Not sure if that can even be qualified as a bug.
