Just for the record, just because an RPG comes out of Japan, doesn't make it a JRPG. It's more of a style of game. For example Claire Obsecure is a JRPG being made by frog people.

But if you are talking about JRPGs in the correct sense, there are a bunch of great ones. I think going by volume there's probably more good JRPGs than there are western RPGs (sadly).
