AFAIK his intention was a pulp-horror series and that's what you will likely get. If you enjoy that kind of stories you might like it.
Have started reading the first story, but I'm not that far in yet.

It is more likely a horror-oriented fantasy story. It might be good, especially since he explicitly wants to recreate the Golden Age of RPG's mechanics and depth, and even mentioned that Wizardry is what he is aiming at.

Oh, I was refering to the "Jason Dark" stories, not the game.
The focus group got a free e-book as a small thanks for the survey.
