(To Sail) Beyond the Sunset might not be a bad option, either -- it has a reference to Robert A. Heinlein (VD cites Orphans of the Sky as one of his inspirations for the game), voyage, and the stars, as taken from Tennyson's Ulysses
To sail beyond the sunset, and the baths
Of all the western stars, until I die.
(Although it's also true that To Sail Beyond the Sunset is not exactly one of Heinlein's best.)

I like the New World.
You shouldn't play Asian MMO's.

OUT OF EARTH
OFF EARTH
OFF TO NEW WORLD
NEW WORLD EARTH
NEW EARTH ORDER
NEW WORLD ORDER

These all suck.

EAST OF EARTH sounds like you are traveling across the sea not outer space.

---

Orphans of the Sky sounds nice...Children of the Sky. Nomads of the Sky. Starfarer of the Sky...

Every suggestion so far is terrible. Of VD's suggestions, the first is pleasant but utterly bland and the other two are unmemorable and awkward. East of Earth could be okay if you replaced Earth with something a bit more poetic representing Earth's place in the cosmos.

I'm a big fan of single word titles that don't necessarily have an obvious connection to the game but sound memorable or evocative, just picked from a line of dialogue.

I give up, how about ?INTERESTING RPG?

Beneath a Steel Sky would be a perfect title if it hadn't already been taken. :M

A couple of other suggestions plus criticism of them:

"Enclosed Space" - Lacks that hope / "to the unknown" component.

"A Pocket in Space" - Lacks the hope / faith aspect.

"The light at the end of the voyage" - Too long. The game doesn't take place at the actual end.

I was also trying to get a decent Metal Cage in Space title, but TZ3K was faster.

From the three suggestions, I would have gone with the third one, but I do not really like any of those. Personally, I would choose something referencing Orphans of the Sky, maybe something like Children of the Void?

MRY's Starship Leviathan is not bad, but it is unlikely that people of Earth would call their ship Leviathan rather than Starfarer

Bu to me it would be like naming the game Carpetbaggers, which is also about travelling somewhat in the name, but not in the content of the book.
What about Carpetmunchers, then? Having companion romances would fit in nicely.

You could also add something to New World to please everyone.

Starfarer: New World Carpetmunchers.

Has anyone read Carpetbaggers? Its a good book. I think a far better book than East of Eden.
