Why the hell would I want to exchange my freedom dollars into potatoes?

And those are some expensive potatoes. I checked my local flyer and I can get a 5lb. bag for 59¢.

Are you guys actually serious? You want to pay to put some immersion-breaking culture reference into an RPG? Sounds self-indulgent.
Well, I hope they manage to hide it well enough.

All content put into Torment is subject to approval and edits. You don't buy access to a completely free bit of design where you can do anything you want and then force us to hide it somewhere. If it doesn't work in the setting, it won't be approved.

FYI everybody: The top 30 donors will each receive a digital copy of the game. We'll see if we can't negotiate something more later on.

But we get our money back then, right? I mean, you wouldn't want to risk upsetting one of your major funders. Where would you be without us? Stuck with fewer levels in your mega dungeon, that's where. Besides, you wouldn't want to risk a poor Codex review: "What Torment really needed was a temple of dongs. Without it, 0/5 would not bang".

Right on - they should be guaranteeing us what we want to spur the mini-fundraiser on. Or, as another way of saying it, now is not too early to begin...'negotiations', shall we say.

We might have to move the collected money to a project more accepting of our tastes. Someone should strike up a deal with the Veronica Mars movie.

Don't be hasty Jaesun, you could at least see what Veronica Mars would offer...

If the Codex review isn't really negative and nitpicky I will want *my* money back.

In all seriousness, of course we're not going to be total bastards about it and do our best to make it work from the backers' original idea/suggestions, but yeah, no stupid shit (and I know you know that DU, just saying in general)
