Perfidious Pole
The units and most of the heroes are fine. The town screen? Ugh.
Names are maya, divine illusion. Only profile pic matters. Your feelings are telling you there are many Sandros. But do know by your heart: Sandro is One.Also: are you telling me both Sandros are Poles?
There's only one Sandro, kurwa.
Indeed, all three of us are One.Names are maya, divine illusion. Only profile pic matters. Your feelings are telling you there are many Sandros. But do know by your heart: Sandro is One.Also: are you telling me both Sandros are Poles?

Lorelei would be an A+ tier dungeon hero in HoMM 3 if only instead of leadership she'd start with something useful like Offence or Tictacs.I have been playing HoMM 3 for 25 years and HoMM 3 for 22, but I will put 0 trust into HoMM until Ubiturd colapses and IP is sold to private entity.
In this interview, we are welcoming Lohikaarme, a former Heroes of Might & Magic 5 professional player and now the co-founder of Ashan Arena, which is one of the biggest Heroes of Might & Magic 5 tournaments with a massive following. As a sidenote, there were rumors doing the rounds a year ago about Ubisoft having a Might & Magic title in development.
I don't remember if the exact title leaked at any point, but do we know if it's a different game (a proper mainline Might & Magic, maybe?) or are there chances this one was the rumored one?
It is indeed a very generic fantasy that made a heavy use of mythological and classical D&D tropes.Heroes of Might and Magic is generic fantasy.
Minotaurs live in labyrinths while fancy dressed vampires live in gothic mansions, elves are renowned archers who live in a forest while dwarfs like their gold and mines. Dragons are not going to be anything other than what you imagine your average classic dragon to be and even sci-fi elements from RPGs like droids or blasters look exactly like what you imagine if someone said "sci-fi robot" or "space blaster".
As weird as it sounds this reliance on ultra basic but widely and instantly recognizable fantasy elements is what makes old Might & Magic world kinda unique.

Heroes of Might and Magic 3 were supposed to have those things in add-on faction, Factory. It was canceled because of Columbine, my friend told me, but fuck him.Kind of seems like a shame they don’t roll that weird Might and Magic stuff into the Heroes games. Give us weird robot angels and demons that are actually space aliens.
I fail to see the relevancy. HOMM3 tournaments are a whole another ball game (game design wise). No one at NWC thought HOMM3 is gonna become an esport in Poland after 20 years. Just like no one expected Starcraft to be one in Korea. Focus on making a good SP game first (and campaign) - but it's highly doubtful they will.
Blizzard was definitely thinking about multiplayer by the time they were working on StarCraft.
They were already pretty OP. One of the best undead units (unlike shitty bone dragons or zombies). The liches can raise dead now, which sounds like it could make them very useful.
