Work will set you free"after so long I finally realised: I'm not sick, I was never sick, I just live in a sick society, where someone's individual worth is measured only by the raw productive output they can spit out before being chewed up by the gears, irrespective of their own unique neurochemistry and spirit. Fuck being valuable. It's not for me, it's never been for me, it's for sustaining some misery machine. I'm sorry, I never read the fine print of my birth, but I never signed up for this." (14:05-30)
It's the most entertaining review he's done in a long long time
Set for life? LOL!
He can't get his vidya monetized and sponsorships are uh... risky, to to say the least. Once his paypigs lose interest, he'll be back to dealing out drug prescriptions to addicts.
I was being slightly hyperbolic (terribly inappropriate and out of place with Sseth, I know), but beyond that, how exactly would you describe his little declaration?Could you try to at least not going full retard once in your lifetime

(14:05-30)Sure, you could say he was being facetious, but it's pretty plainly delivered and ties in directly to his immediately previous complaints about ritalin, a cognitive performance enhancing drug, being "a vampire and it's gonna suck your will to live". That whole section starts with a joke, but doesn't really end on one. Maybe just aren't familiar with the phrase? I gave your edgy bile a serious answer, maybe you can do me the same courtesy this once.
Unless it's "sex work"does not mean that he subscribe to your ideological drivel about "abolishing work".

I never said he wanted to abolish a thing, and if anything it's a populist term now -- not an anarchist one, but I'm glad you find arguing with strawmen so fulfilling. Maybe just, you know, don't tag me in it next time?Yeah, the anarchist mindset at work. Just because he despises the rat race (which can be understandable given his background) does not mean that he subscribe to your ideological drivel about "abolishing work".
You are quite welcome to continue sucking on jackboots without compensation.Unless it's "sex work"

Sad to hear that Ol' Willy got corrupted into becoming a shoutbox regular. They seem to spend a great amount of time discussing the issue on shoutbox.
an anti-work mantra
I never said he wanted to abolish a thing
Motte & bailey shit
Is it even bait at this point ?if anything it's a populist term now
No. I don't know the details, but inasmuch as there's a "community" around that term, there's been dumb e-drama over how it's now solidly middle class "i wish i had a better work-life balance" types over people agitating (or more likely just shitposting) for an end to capitalism. Is it even bait at his point ?
Again, complaining about a hint of hyperbole re: a sseth video just strikes me as arguing for the sake of arguing. Others understood my meaning just fine, but you seem to always find cause for conflict. /shrugQuelle surprise
Within the Ottoman empire the idea that boys weren't men and that it was for this reason okay to have sex with them as a man was prevalent. One can refer to Lord Charlemont's "The Travels in Greece and Turkey" from 1749, who on a Turkish ship found that there were boys around only for the purpose of homosexual relations. There are passages in the memoirs of Baron de Tott where he describes Ottoman soldiers fighting for the attention of boy dancers and that the boys were in higher demand than the girls.Sad to hear that Ol' Willy got corrupted into becoming a shoutbox regular. They seem to spend a great amount of time discussing the issue on shoutbox.
We did, Ustad was fond of itYou can talk about that in a thread, no need for shoutbox. Save yourself while there's still time))
Yup, pretty much with the same effects.Isn’t Ritalin pretty much cocaine?
prostitution isn't real workChrist you guys are killing the mood
IIRC there was a point where he made close to the yearly minimum wage per video. If he doesn't charge for the video it's because either he thinks the game is not worth your money (COQ) or that he's been sponsored (his latest). So even if he slacks and makes six monetized videos per year you're looking at well over 80k. Sure that's not the jackpot but if he channels the full power of his semitic ancestry a few years of working the grind he could make it work.I hope he never has to work a single day in his life again.

Fun Fact: If you have a specific allele (I can't be assed to look up the name of the gene right now), even the highest medically prescribed dose of methylphenidate loses out to an ordinary mug of coffee. I learned this from experience and genetic testing.Ritalin is more like amphetamine.
Anything that fucks with the brain’s reward system is addictive. Methylphenidate is definitely a habit-forming drug.
