How Do I Get All The Smilies/Buttons? (Or WTF They're Called).

I believe my freedom of expression is being stifled. My right to express myself in a matter befitting 2021. On the Codex. My right to all buttons or smilies.

I lack the 'meh' button. As a matter of fact, if I am to properly identify as a Codexer of merit, literary skill, gravitas, moral standing, Christian beliefs, and overall respectability; I will need a full range of expression. In a language (apparently) understood by all life forms.

Or at least an instruction manual with accompanying annotations as to why my freedom of smilies/buttons has been thusly curtailed.

I refer the appropriate (I think it may be Crispy) moderator to this grave error, and hope that a right and honourable gentleman would consider this a fair and reasonable post. Occupying its place with weight and merit.

:outrage:

-I've got a court case coming up in the next few weeks, so I'm gonna practice my professional demeanor in this thread for a bit. It's not like this part of the forums gets used for any actual purpose right?.

I see. The time honoured answer. Greasing palms and backhanders to those of hair raising moral compunction.

Ok, I'll think about it.

I see. So the "Account Upgrades" section was designed by the same person who designed Lilura's site?. Once I work out WTF I'm looking at, or what to do, where it is, and if I'm just buying a bowl of rice for a kid in China or another penny to a Jew in Israel, I'll donate some money.

What a journey. It turns out I already had access to this stuff from years ago when I donated to a Developer that needed a new car. I just didn't bother to tick the boxes.

The problem is it's too confusing now. The button options before was simple. Like porn on the internet when it came out in the 90s. It was just tits 'n ass. Now there's just too many options and ways to express myself. Perhaps button expression is overrated and some censorship is needed after all?.

Keep the Codex simple.

The basic pack is missing buttons for some important reactions, such as "sad", "m'lady", "interesting", "my brow gathers sweat", "how dare you!", "up yours", "bro do you even lift", "facepalm" and the autism robot. They should be moved to basic pack if DU adds more buttons for the others. To keep things balanced like.

I remember when the "No" button was still patron-only. I did not approve of that change.

Our button DLC manager is currently under construction. Very soon, our users will be able to select from a range of reactionary icons, purchasable from a number of different packages through a streamlined donation interface that will make emptying your wallet on the Codex a much more pleasurable experience.

You should put them in lootboxes or gacha, ultrarares have 0.01% chance of getting and some have limited no. of uses.
Don't forget limited editions and time-gating.
Making Codexers have rating envy.

Buttons are retarded

And smileys aren't smileys anymore, they're called "emojis" now because we live in clown world and millennials are a bunch of weeaboo faggots.

So what's a button?.

- I'm suddenly remembering a memory from when I was a kid, and my grandmother had seen her first VCR. And I was explaining the remote control to her...

Buttons are used to express your opinion on another post, without having to do any of that boring "articulating your thoughts" shit.

Smileys/emojis whatever are used inline in your post. Largely for the same reasons
