Um, that is weird... It looks and more or less sounds like the same game, but the store pages are significantly different. Developer is 100% the same though.

"Hell Galaxy is the only game where you can experience the fusion of space battles, eerie specters, and daunting titans. This unique gameplay offers a mix of action, horror, and space exploration. Engage in dynamic mining, looting, and crafting while traversing an RPG-influenced cosmos."
Damn, that's new. Looks ok though. I'll get the demo and give it a spin

I remember when Escape Velocity were basically the only games in this genre for more than a decade. Seems to have been a real resurgence lately, which is great because I enjoy these games, but it really makes it difficult to determine which ones to play.

Relic Space 1.0 is out now!
HIGH PRIORITY TRANSMISSION INCOMING: This is Commander Jorrell. Your efforts on behalf of our Order have not gone unnoticed. We now have a unique opportunity to infiltrate Reelys Station. Head to the Trade Hub immediately for further instructions...

Yep, it's the full release, featuring the main campaign, steam achievements, controller support and more!

Just remember that due to the scope of the changes, previous saved games may not be supported - if you wish to continue an existing saved game, you should select the 'previous' version from the 'betas' section of the Steam 'properties' menu.

It's a decent simultaneous turn-based game. I was having some issues when it tried placing a mission objective in the middle of an inaccessible asteroid field, so I stopped playing to wait for further updates. Solid 7/10 for me.

That looks so amazing until you see the combat. And that fuckwit is trying to cope as usual. If they could put some good gameplay in that it would be amazing but seems a lot to ask.

Unfortunately, that has about as much chance of being finished in a decent way as Star Citizen has of launching this year. I wish them well, but no chance I am buying into early access...

One thing I did note is that they are planning on supporting private servers; this alone could make it worthwhile.

It looks like it has missions, go here and kill 10 of those little jumper creatures or whatever. And he achieved it standing on a rock where they can't reach. Shame to have gameplay like that after looking at the impressive tech and graphics.

What is it with the freeware ones always having the most retarded sounding names too?
