From that trailer, it seems that they'll adapt quite a few mercs. So if you don't like Vicki (which I don't either), just don't add her to your rooster. Simple as.

That's https://jaggedalliance.fandom.com/wiki/Victoria_"Vicki"_Waters

Were the first two games pozzed or do you just have a thinner skin about this kind of stuff now?

That's Vicki? Did she dip past the Voyager's transwarp barrier for a moment? That's the only reasonable explanation for her devolution.

Progressives in 2001: black women are normal people, like you and me.
Progressives in 2021: black women are spear-chucking savages who look like it's still -15,000 BC outside.

Are there progs in Bulgaria? I have no idea.

The portrait and in-game model look better. Has her cleavage out and everything. :M

Looks like fucking hippy or rastafari. And note that her cleavage is significantly lighter than the rest of her skin... Sunbathing much? Isn't heavy tan a form of blackface?

It's stereotypical Jamaican hair and colors. The overalls because she works on cars.

Right, she's got jamaican accent in the lore, therefore she must look like bob marley, because everyone who speaks with jamaican accent has to be rastafari. It would be a shame if twatter heard of it... :smug:

Funnily enough, authentic Rastafari culture is more or less dead in Jamaica. It's only the government who makes use of it as a national PR shtick. Good for tourism, I guess.

Yes the first two were also pozzed. Like seriously, who the hell thinks women could actually be effective mercenaries?

If we look at the etymology, "pozzed" goes back to "HIV-positive". Interesting given your attitude that you only want to play games about sweaty men in the jungle with no girls allowed. Really makes you think.

The characters were designed to be completely ridiculous. That's the point. Like a Danish kindergarten teacher who became a mercenary. Yeah, you really caught them there. That's actually not very plausible. You want a medal for discovering that secret?

was there ever a time on this forum where people did not judge games first and foremost on the cosmetics of the characters or has it always been like this here?

kind of surprised how posters here are obsessed with the aesthetics of character design.

Cosmetics / aesthetics / graphics in the broader context of game trends (and shitty games) can tell a lot about a game.
