So is this thing playable outside of Foundry, or is Vendor Lock-in a feature?

sheesh, playing PnP nowadays feels like you have to study a browser game with the most opaque interface and worst art.
Oh this is because most DM use prefab maps or they don't care about art at all. But i assure you you can make amazing looking maps.

Sure he's working on this part-time, but it's ridiculous how it's taking him 6+ years to make a tabletop ruleset hardly anyone will care about.

Well it was either that or another linear adventure game that hardly anyone cares about.
That received accolades from the gaming press and the few people on Steam who did buy it. No one can get that enthused about a ruleset.
