Insert Title Here Strap Yourselves In Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Divinity: Original Sin 2
Legends of Eisenwald: looks like a King's Bounty/HOMM type of game, except your squad's comprised of heroes rather than units. Graphics are pretty good, and I like the video on the KS page. Backing this one because it looks like it has potential for incline.

Who_We_Are.jpg

These men deserve your money.
Well we actually do need some king's bounty-like.
And this one doesn't look too shabby

Good quality steel sword replica which can be used to defend against scum like Hoodies and Tax Collector costs around 200$. If they are not Xtreme enough to include the real thing they don't desserve my potatoes.:obviously:

That logic would be much more sound if DRM actually did anything to prevent piracy. It looks like an interesting project though.

Yeah I've already done my part, but one voice isn't enough. Hopefully more people will try and convince them too. If enough people ask for it, they'll likely release it DRM-free. If people have the goodwill to back a project they know next to nothing about beyond what's shown in a video and on a KS page, it's only respectful to return the favour by trusting that these people won't pirate the game. It's not like Steam games have never been pirated before.

Yeah, that DRM thing will reduce donations definitely. And the sad thing is, it won't prevent piracy, as all DRM games have been cracked and pirated. So where do I express my anti-drm sentiments to them? :)

evdk Well, considering they have a inventory/equipement screen with weapon and armor (2:00 in their video), you might be able to do so

@Draco Yeah, fot this price i expect a silver sword with engraved diamonds. I mean geez, 10k$ ! For a non-cutting sword ? I kinda like their leather pouch, but the sword...

udm Damn, that's too bad. Well i'll keep bugging them, who knows. I don't have steam installed and never will, so it's a big no-no for me right now. And as far asa piracy goes, it's a non issue - unless it's totally ignored by the scene, it WILL get pirated. I mean you can even find rare gems like Winspmbt and Conquest of elysium 3 on the bay, so yeah, this one will too.

At the top, you should see, slightly below the title, a link that says "send message". Alternately, right below the FAQ, there's a button that says "ASK A QUESTION".

What the fuck, that Eisenwald game looks promising but they aren't getting any cash?

Meanwhile a support for iphone gathered millions and rpgmaker weaboo crap thousands.

87 backers, $4791 pledged. That's an average of $55 pledged for a weeaboo game :retarded:

Helly they got back to me. They're most likely going to be using Steam. I asked if they would use GOG, and their response was that they didn't know about GOG's market share, so they're not going to use it. They're hesitant to release a DRM-free game because their logic is that $50K (what they're asking for on KS) only constitutes to a fraction of the development costs; they've drained their own money to cover the remainder, and DRM-free means the project's going to be pirated to hell and will not sell well enough to cover what they have already spent on the project.

Maybe it's a Belarus thing? Living in a country like that can influence you to a degree. Belarus isn't exactly the bastion of freedom and democracy. Hell, I think they still have secret police over there, don't they?

What, don't tell me you don't wanna see this guy in a kinky bikini or a bdsm suit for just 25$ ? It's a pretty good offer if you're into public humiliation.

Well guys, we did it. Legends of Eisenwald will be DRM-free!

Will the game be DRM-free?
Yes, we will have DRM-free version! The rewards cannot be edited anymore but each backer will have a choice for either DRM-free or a digital downloadable copy.

:bravo:

This will hopefully kickstart their donations as at this rate it doesn't look too promising... They need some media coverage on some bigger gaming sites. Like Gamebanshee perhaps?
