Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) struggle with communication and basic social skills. Popchilla’s World is an iPad game designed to help these children practice daily routines and social interactions in a fun and playful way.

In the game, a friendly creature named “Popchilla” needs the child’s help to navigate the world and complete simple activities like brushing Popchilla’s teeth, making Popchilla’s bed, or saying hello. As the child completes these activities they are rewarded with in-game achievements and new activities to explore.

Why an iPad game?

Research has shown that children with autism have an easier time interacting with technology and inanimate devices, than with people. In particular, many children with autism seem to strongly connect with touchscreen devices like the iPad.

Currently, children with autism practice daily routines and social interactions by reviewing scripted stories and picture books with their parents and therapists. With Popchilla’s World, we’re leveraging the connection between these children and technology to allow them to practice these skills through interactive play.

It seems an all right way for a kickstarter, 25K to make your own documentary film. Their video was actually very entertaining, so I think the film should be made.

Yeah Bro, spread the word. They could be funded easily if more people new about the project, but I don't see it featured anywhere. I can't believe that this new weaboo kicksterter shit gets funded and a game like this can barely get a 1000 $.

Wait... something is wrong with this........ At the beggining he says the game is set in a real medieval period 'without drunk dwarfs, stupid orcs etc etc' but at the end they show an artwork of a skeleten warrior in armor and an animation of a werewolf.

You know it's a bad sign when the developers don't know themselves what they have in their own game.

No, it will be similar to Darklands (setting), late medieval with low fantasy setting. So a bit of undead and werewolf beasts are in order.

Well for the lowest tier you get that game with map editor and Legends of Eisenwald... Don't know if Discord Times is any good though...

This Eisenwald thing really needs more discussing.
I would probably back this if I only had trust in these kinds of developers. Their 3d models look 10/10, the guys themselves look likeable, but already I don't like the combat. In the end, I am afraid they will end up like all these Russians before them, how many promising strategy games have we seen over the years, half finished, ruined by bugs and blessed with really stupid ideas.
I don't know what it is with these Russians, but I got really burned out by them, they always have great ideas and enthusiasm, but then they blunder around and in the end it's never good enough.

I want to beleive in Eisenwald, I really do. But I've been burned too many times in the past by Vodka Videogames that looked promising in development. If/when the game is released and reviews tick in confirming it's somewhat bug-free and balanced, I'll throw my jewgold at them.
