The Diviner looks kinda interesting -- it's basically an illustrated text-based CYOA RPG:

Its inspirations seem to be a bit all over the place though, from Wasteland and Fallout New Vegas to Diablo and Pokemon, not to mention Bioware-style romances.

I will wait before add this, by the look of it seems a scam to me or maybe is genuine retardation, let' see if proves to be something feasible.

Difficult Decisions

Hey folks, you all have probably seen this coming. Over the past couple of months we've been working internally to try and have something for you - however, it is clear that it is not feasible at this time. With that in mind, we'll be holding off from any more work on the project for several months until we are able to collect ourselves and refocus our energies.

At that time, we may decide that the project is still not feasible, and we'll make decisions from there. Nonetheless, during that downtime, I will be looking into other paths that we can take to satisfy you - including both legal action or a partnership with a more established game development group.

Your support and understanding has always been staggering, and I want to thank you again.

Wildfire is a stealth platformer with environment interaction by Dan Hindes, the Sneaky Bastards guy.

Wildfire's environment is built with consistent, systemic properties. Any source of fire will burn anything flammable, and any source of water will extinguish any source of fire. Weather effects such as rain and snow change the way you need to approach a level by interacting with these properties. Levels are designed to allow players to craft creative solutions to problems - but enemies will react to the changes in their environment, too.

Mhyre - Game Director for Midora and President of Epic Minds - claims that the money raised was "never enough to begin with", and that the issue is that more development talent is required to finish the game. The enigmatic Mhyre also states that his vision for Midora kept growing during development, expanding the scope of the game beyond what the amassed Kickstarter cash could support:

Midora is the kind of game that I have personally been dreaming about for years now. If you told me 5 years ago I would be working on such game, I would never believe you. The reason why Early Access has been delayed so much is simply because everything has changed. This is really hard to explain, especially when what you've seen so far doesn't even come close to what I have in mind for the game. I have a vision, and that vision keeps getting better and better. It also becomes clearer the more I work on the game with the team.

That vision takes a lot of time, and when I look at how much Midora has changed in just a year, I know for sure that we can beyond. TLDR: So it appears this guy, Tharol Stephens, partnered with a games studio Evertide games to use his comic for a game. Someone from Evertide games runs off with the money. Asks for a list of the backers' emails so he can send them out something to try and compensate for them being scammed. Kickstarter refuses and refuses to help in any other way. He issues a DMCA to get the page down as it's a scam. Kickstarter sends an email to all backers saying they will receive what was promised, then links to the guy's address. Essentially, giving 2,000+ upset backers his home address.

I told you that the project was a scam that ripped off thousands of people in my name by taking their money, disappearing forever and forcing me to face everyone. I explained that no backers would ever receive any rewards or product. I asked for the backer list so I could send all of them 'something' to try and make this as right as I can.

I understand that I'm talking to a business and not a single person, but whoever is reading this right now, please think about this for a moment. You promised over 2000 people that they can expect the non-existent products that they paid for... that have my name on them... and then you gave all of them my home address.

Please stop this. I honestly can't take anymore.

Seems like KS won't do anything about it because that might make them liable. Thunt's IP is just going to have to take the hit as well as the backers. Would be better to move on. I'm assuming he contacted a lawyer and was told he couldn't do anything or that going up against Amazon's lawyers would be too timely and costly. I still don't like KS's behavior though. It just seems too easy to scam people.

Nice subliminal message touch at the end of the video where one screen kept flashing "you are important to us" to grab your attention.

I'm always wary of flexible funding campaigns and in this case they don't even have a prototype to showcase. They only include a couple examples of concept art (which are not even in the same style; the landscape looks way more polished than the dragon).
Also, there's the fact that they raised $0 in the critical first two days. :M
