Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
Sitrep. Riding through Ledechko and blam, the town is under attack by the Cumans! Holy shit, here's my chance to finally improve my Ledechko rep.

Me and Mutt proceed to help the city guard kick some Cuman ass.

After the slaughter is over a guard runs up to me and accuses me of unleashing my dog on people. I had to pay 600 gold and my Ledechko rep dropped to -54.

There is a certain place where they always spawn(cumans vs guards) north of Ledetchko by the lake, maybe them?

So...I entered the monastery with Needle in the Haystack...I talk to Antonín, take the tour...one sidequest with a list of info about novices gets automatically completed because I read the list when stealing Necronomicon some 80 hours ago...and I can immediately tell Antonin that he is Pious, he admits it and...quest complete, 5 minutes after it began!

The exact same thing just happened to me. Except I didn't steal the Necronomicon and didn't read any list yet, I entered the monastery for the first time, legitimately. Funny thing is I was only half reading the dialogue options while talking to Antonin after the tour, just clicking away all the white lines and suddenly I hear: "YOU are Pious!" and the answer: "You're right, I confess." My jaw literally dropped. I haven't laughed so hard in a while lol.

I will reload and enjoy the quest properly as well, obviously. It's just the suspense will be gone. Shame.

Is further work on "living world" and "original Oblivion AI before braining down" something true yet vague enough that you feel comfortable confirming is one of the focuses for next Kingdom Come?

NPCs living their lives, having needs & goals and seeking to accomplish them according to their stat sheet, morality and social status. When will we see NPC actually stealing bread, wine, pork, neighbour's wife and going to prison? I hope next Kingdom Come has dynamically filled prisons

Finally met Mr. Brian Blessed. Such a great voice. I can only hope he will make it into the next game as well.

This stuff is insane to debug and very few people appreciate it, not sure if worth the effort tbh.

Every RPG innovation is tied to world's AI, be it combat, questing or simulation, so IMO it's more then worth the effort
Also people love peacefully watching, lol messing and drowning in its blood living digital worlds. More alive world means more alive reactions to our player character and more memorable fun is every playthrough. Combined with gud world design & story, it would make KC:D II godly!

That stuff is literally the reason the game sold 1 million right out the gate. Donno if its "insane to debug" but its resource heavy fo'sho; devs still resort to spawns instead of shit happening organically through the simulation.

Kingdom Come Uno was very nice first step in right direction. Let's hope Part Deux won't be WarHorse's Skyrim, except in sales
Is it so hard to ask for what band of autistic Germans with Gothic did over a decade ago?
Or what pre-Tod Bethesda aimed to do and almost did with Daggerfall two decades ago?

Anyways, it's that much more interesting to interact with living digital world. If it's dead and static it feels as fun as rape of dakimakura

only two options - a charisma check or fail. And the charisma check is unwinnable, even with much higher charisma than him
How do you know his charisma?
A speech perk that shows you other people stats.

Also that charisma check isn't unwinnable after all, I could win it about 3 times out of 10. Seems like if you have a higher charisma/speech/intimidate than the other person a win isn't guaranteed, it's only a chance. And the smaller difference the lower the chance.

i thought it was more like certain options gave other character +stat when comparing speech stats..
like you can try intimidating a guard and you might have 1 more stat than him but it wont fucking work cos thats an unlikely response so he gets a bonus.

or maybe i just pulled it up my ass while playing

What's warhorse working on now? Any more DLCs for the game? A sequel?

No more DLCs for KCD, last support update will be mod tools. Company is probably in early development of KCD 2, will be using the same engine because they said they developed a lot of proprietary tech and tools for it and don't want to scrap all that.

Hopefully they let us play a chad Ottoman or have chad Ottoman companion in next one.
It was fun cutting down cumans and czechs but would feel better when playing correct religion and nationality.

You of course understand the franchise is called "Kingdom Come", which is quite literally an excerpt from the Lord's Prayer, the formulation of prayer directly passed on from Jesus to his disciples. Given this, I really do not expect the developer to switch the protagonist to a Muslim character.

I guess you'll have to wait for your own studios to make a game about a grorious period of Turkish history.

Like the siege of Vienna.

I'd play the siege of Vienna, or even a globe-spanning CoD style game about Suleyman's era, where I get to play missions from both sides.

First, they need to make a game set during the Hussite Wars, which will be their next game if they have enough sense to realize that Henry's storyline was never very interesting and could easily have received closure at the end of Kingdom Come: Deliverance via the retrieval of his father's sword.

Fun fact, Ottomans came across Hussite war wagon tactics in crusade of Varna when Hungarian commander Hunyadi Janós utilised it against them. At the aftermath of Battle of Varna at 1444, they captured many Czech war wagons and personnel, later incorporating wagenburg to their own military doctrine and using it for next century and half, calling it Taburcengi (camp battle). It proved very valuable against other Turco-Persian or Turco-Arabic dynasties such as Safavids and Mamelukes in battles such as Chaldiran and Marj Dabiq. Ottomans even later borrowed some of their technicians and personnel to future Mughal Emperor Babur, who also used it against Turkic and Indian dynasties in India.

Could be a cool story or expansion there if they ever made a different game.
