Skimmed through a few Czech previews, everyone is happy about the game and apparently this time around the optimization is great and there are few bugs to speak of.

Haven't seen anything about the jogger yet though, he's probably in the later part of the game, few people have gotten that far.

I don't want to talk too much about the performance on the Steam Deck just yet since there's still so much more of the game to play, but so far, I will say the experience has been very positive. 30 FPS will definitely be possible, and I could see it working without any upscaler. It looks like 40 FPS may also be possible with upscaling. I don't want to say definitively whether it's playable on Deck or not, but my guess after my experience so far is that this will be a solid portable experience.

He didn't say much about the actual performance numbers while running the game on the deck, but if he believes the game can run at 30 fps on the SD just fine, then people can most certainly run on low end desktops just fine without upscaling.

The attempts at misdirection are no longer effective in the face of pattern recognition.

If it is present in the game, then it'll be particularly stupid since the lead developer is on record taking a very harsh stance against the idea of black characters being present in the region.

The dialogue is also very on the nose for the character. It has the same predictably smug tone that is present whenever a progressive forcibly injects diversity into a video game. Hogwart's Legacy had a black character bragging about how much better and advanced the African counterpart to Hogwart's supposedly is.

That's just one example. Yet once you start noticing the patterns, you can readily see how 99% of the time these NPC's are carefully crafting to push a certain false narrative.

The best case scenario is that it is indeed fake. If it isn't fake I will simply shrug in indifference and avoid buying the game.

My main concern is that the smarter subversives recognise the need to hide their agenda better, perhaps by pushing this nonsense towards the tail end of the story and exploiting the fact that content creator and journalist previews only cover the first segments.

I was dubious about the whole screenshot deal from the beginning, but I'm beginning to lean heavily towards "fake" now.
Why only drip fed screenshots, in an era where anything can be faked by an AI? Why not a webm? Why only of this negro? Why aren't screenshots of plot critical moments leaking? Why didn't the ending leak? Why the very first screenshot featuring this negro have dialogue that couldn't be more ragebait-y if you tried, with him talking about respecting women? I think it's incredibly well-crafted outrage bait.
If it turns out that he's actually in the game, however, I'll delete this post and act as if I always known that Vavra is a cuck.

The second screenshot that you posted shows the exact same character with the exact same attire down to the details (like the chain) while exactly looking like the graphical style of KC:D. It's highly unlikely that AI is so consistent.
The scene that you posted also fits the leaked description that the man is a doctor at a camp.

If it was only one screenshot, a fake would be possible. But with the second screenshot, the possibility of a fake is very low.

Previews have been strictly limited in what they can reveal, specifically they can't reveal anything past a certain point in the story

An interesting change to masterstrikes - previously, to pull off a MS, you just pressed "Defend" as soon as someone attacked. Super lame, ruined the combat.

In KCD2 you also wait for someone to attack but now you have to "Attack" from the opposite side at the right moment. That also means you yourself won't get MS'd if you're only attacking on the side the enemy is defending.

Also MS is a sword-only ability now. Meaning mobs with maces, hammers and halberds can't MS you.

The fact that the dialogue is written in English and not Arabic gives it away that it's fake. Foreigners in KCD1 talked in their own language and the subtitles reflected that, like the Cumans who spoke in Hungarian or the Pole in the KCD2 showcase who spoke in Polish. Even if that nigger knew Latin (which was the lingua franca at the time), Henry would still be unable to understand him since he only knows Czech.

It's only been a few days between the end of KCD 1 and the start of KCD2, and the extended gameplay showcase they released last month already disproves that theory. The first thing you hear after the siege tutorial ends is Henry asking Hans Capon about a famous Latin saying.
