I doubt it. Even before Christianity, societies had established rules and laws to ensure their continued existence and well being. You could say such practices were more tolerated if anything. Hypocrisy in the application of laws and rules has always been a thing, it's not a Christianity problem.

Holy shit, is your knowledge of history only formed through pop culture? No, gay sex was not as normal as non-gay in pagan societies, and the less upstanding members of the clergy satisfied their urges... by fucking women.
