This fucking game. Thank God I didn't preorder it. This degeneracy and retarded development of morals is what you get with generations of children prescribed amphetamines by elementary school.

I was mostly referring to the hyper focusing of narcissistic impulses and early activated seeking out pleasures of the flesh, the confused neurotic and paranoid delusions of identity and perception of oneself compounded by indulging in perverse fantasies unleashed by an uninhibited unconscious, which daily amphetamine use exacerbates by an extraordinary amount. This being legal and "normal" led (obviously among many other factors) in a few short decades to our present standards.

So Warcuck studios are promoting this game with straight romance with a girl that sounds emotionless especially in this clip right here

I'd give you a reaction but I'm retarded enough to do that yet

I'll allow it.
I will believe Infinitron is Bulgarian if he can answer the question: "What did Nikephorus I say, according to the legend, as he was ambushed by Bulgarians in an unknown Balkan Mountain pass in 812, before he was killed?"

IGN described this game as a "mostly linear medieval action drama". Is that accurate? Because that does not sound appealing at all. I got the first one for free but haven't played it yet so I have no idea

Non removed it and played up to the pillory part. I really pissed off Hans there and he fucked off right after. Because of Vavra being a cocksucker I am being antagonistic to Hans. I want to avoid gay dialogue options even showing up, if that's possible at all. Also it seems like they wrote Hans to be a lot more of a spoiled brat than he was in the first game. But maybe that will change later. And maybe I'm imagining things thanks to Warhorse fagging up the game but writing in general feels a little bit off somehow, like they are trying to be edgier now. And there seems to be more cursing compared to first game.

Performance is quite surprising, it's actually running way better than first game. Running on i5-8400, 16GB RAM, RTX 3060 12GB. 1080p DLAA (DLSS4 version, which wasn't in game by default), Experimental textures, Ultra vegetation, rest High. Also couple customized settings - "e_ShadowsCastViewDistRatio=1" (Higher than in game maximum, shadow pop-in was annoying on High otherwise), "e_LodFaceAreaTargetSize=0.003" (lower is better in case of this and anything higher than that would give me some annoying lod switches, I actually saw shadows switch quality right near my feet with 0.004 in some places). Getting mostly 60 FPS and even in places with bunch of NPCs around it doesn't drop below 50. I hope that remains true when I get to the city. In some ways visuals are definitely improved, like character faces or addition of volumetric fog. And DLAA alone already makes for massive improvement over that blurry SMAA 2TX, both in sharpness and stability. But also can't help but feel like vegetation is somewhat downgraded. Sometimes it looks more fake compared to first game, not sure if I'm imagining it.

I was under the impression that Hans in KCD1 was supposed to SHOW FUCKING NUANCE. Yes he comes off as a dick at first but after you rescue him from the Cumans it turns out he's a fairly nice guy. Almost like a real person.

There's like 4 hours of cutscenes and walking-and-talking sections right at the start, so I would believe that the rest of the game is just a movie.

That's a shame, I was hoping for something more like mount and blade without the armies, with a full economy simulation etc.

Nope. The introduction/tutorial is, just like in the first game, heavily railroaded but thankfully a bit shorter with its 3ish hours. Then you get to the simulation-like sandbox. Can't comment on the main story yet, I assume it's similarly "cinematic" as in the first, but there's plenty of different approaches/playstyles and outcomes for the sidequests and whatnot.

Hans' behavior during the prologue is just part of the narrative to explain how he abandons Henry during the 1st act and even ends up nearly executed at the gallows, he eventually becomes normal again afterwards and even apologizes for being a dick.

Looking at Vavra's activity it's not likely that it's satire. You have to be a complete psychopath to maintain the pretense for so long. But on the other hand, it's so incredibly bad what they've done with this character.

Vavra is an expert in jewish mimicry, he was wearing conservative face for so long, and then switched overnight.
