Also the Suchdol siege is such a disappointment.
You go from one cutscene to another with just some fighting and bringing down ladders in between...
You also eventually run out out of food supplies and are starving, but that part seems to be so undercooked.

It was posted few min. ago on Discord. I guess amount of time to find 100 volunteers was measured in not seconds but milliseconds. Oh, well

Also only 100 places is retarded, why so few. I've been in a few closed betas and those were thousands or even ten of thousands strong. Eh, fuck it, I'm still playing Normal anyway.

Infinitron is censoring simple, honest, innocent question "Why?". "Why were the Joos hated - added by me, cvv)
Easy. In the Middle Ages people hated Joos for three main reasons, all of them p. obvious.

1. The idea that Joos murdered Christ. Obviously that's just a half-truth, they did betray him, Romans did the actual killing. Not that medieval peasants gave a fuck about academical details like that because they named one of their kingdoms the Holy Roman Empire. Probably bc Romans were cool while Joos weren't lol.

2. Joos were the only major ethnic minority in the medieval Europe. No niggers, no gypsos, no AZNs or street shitters yet. If you know anything about the in-group/out-group dynamic you know what that means. People have been hating on THE OTHERS for hundreds of thousands of years, just like our ape ancestors were for millions of years. Just like actual ape bands are hating each other now. So Joos were bearing the full brunt of the whitey hatred. And obviously, they disliked the whitey back, for the same reasons, just lke many Joos do now. Many stories from people visiting Israel about the omnipresent contempt for Yuros over there. I don't mind, it's normal.

3. I'm sure you know the race IQ hierarchy. Ashkenazi Jews are at the top, by a lot. Safe to assume that was the case back then too. So not only they were THE OTHERS, they were always smarter, richer and more successful than your average Hans or Pepik. So envy naturally comes into play on top of everything else.

(Just an example - there was a case of some burghers in some Bohemian city who were nice enough to not exterminate their Jews but chase all of them from the town during one of the pogrom waves. Could be even around the time KCD is set in. Very soon they realized tho they got rid of most of their tailors, cobblers, blacksmiths, scribes and other skilful, accomplished artisans and scholars and now nobody can buy any shoes, clothes or have any documentation written up. So next year they send a delegation to the neighbouring city, where the joorinos escaped, to applogize and bring at least some of them back.)

THAT was the reality back then. Dunno, it's all p. common sense, no rocket science.
Jews were, in general, forbidden from owning land. This form of "discrimination" actually pushed them towards forms of employment which were higher up the added value chain, like credit issuing (masked as "money exchange" to circumvent the usury), and trade. So, it was "Get Rich or Die Trying" because you can't own a farm and just be an average guy.

Except in the right times and places you had village-dwelling Jews as depicted in ‘Fiddler on the Roof’, which is at least as impactful culturally for Jews, probably more. And Israel is absolutely full of those people.

This whole goyim myth making of Jews as 400 IQ Übermenschen is just cartoonish antisemitism, except schizophrenic so friendly today.

What I'm saying is a myth because something else was shown in the musical play?

I’m saying that you are stretching something to the point of myth and kindly pointing you to a moving picture you can use as a point of reference if you lack the personal exposure and experience with Jews and Jewish culture to know that.

100 might seem like too little, but they've already had the hardcore mode in kcd1, so they have the design experience from there
judging by the participant count this beta test is just there to give them a second opinion on it to make sure there are no blind spots in regard to certain design decisions, not actually looking for lots of player feedback and potentially big changes to the mode itself

if they were unsure of the design decisions of hardcore mode they'd involve way more people
this really bugged me while playing: https://www.reddit.com/r/kingdomcom...is_anyone_else_getting_a_bunch_of_fake_quest/

also brawling dudes having New Quest icons, they could've easily unmarked these or used a different marker for these "activities"
yeah this was confusing, i thought i had tons of sidequests left, but nope, it's just more fistfights

tl;dr is no matter what you think about the game, devs deserve praise for delivering good performance while keeping good graphic fidelity

I still hate some of the post-effects they (over)used on the game tho... especially the bloom and volumetric fog

It's happening!

Also a reminder that nexus mods is a pozzed site that has a policy of not allowing mods that "reduce diversity".

Here's a link to the mod from degmods.com

At least these guys are keeping all mods on their website, regardless which political side they are aligning with (obviously not retarded far left)

This mod is only a cosmetic change. It does not alter any voice lines or change the accent in any way.
I could try changing his accent to a European one using an AI tool, but it would be a big undertaking as there are numerous dialog files for musa, and there aren't any good free voice changer tools with convincing voices.
Perhaps the people who made the AI voice change mods for certain BG 3 characters will handle this.

This game should be the final nail in the coffin for Unreal Engine, or at least in regards to its use in open world and dynamic games. Thats not happening tho, unfortunately.

Will CryEngine be used for heavy duty rpgs?
Don't think so.
I think there are limits to doing oldschool turn based combat and scenarios.

Ideally we should see more devs using in house engines. Not gonna happen tho.

Infinitron is censoring simple, honest, innocent question "Why?". Why is why so dangerous to be asked? It was asked in effort to better understand time period and happenings in related quests in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and purpose was higher game immersion and better role playing. Is game-immersion and role playing banned on RPG Codex?

This was that BANNED Why? on RPG Codex
> gd shit
I enjoy your rantings, but not everyone does.

In my opinion, you'd get better feedback even from your (((detractors))) if you posted the rantings that are funny or amusing, but left out angry screeds such as that post, or rantings about Jews that aren't particularly insightful or original, and have a bad signal-to-noise ratio.

Maybe making an alt account for posting lesser-quality rantings could work for you?

I think Infinitron's mostly tired of having to deal with it on a regular basis. If your post quality increases somewhat, you'll ironically be able to put more shit below the radar when you really want to.

Also you should register on Rusty's site in order to not lose contact with Codex people in case you get permabanned here.

Engine market will remain mostly the same for years and years to come. AAA companies know most devs in the industry work with Unreal (and Unity to some extent in the AAA market), switching to other engines would disrupt development, making them "waste" money/time to adapt to new tools and train employees. This would also affect their hiring pool (and outsourcing too).

Unreal will reign until Epic fucks up or other engine takes the throne.

And The Wall:
For an autist like me, post ratings helped a lot in long-term arguing my point in GD. Over the years my posts became way better received without changing my beliefs. Find out which posts were badly received, select those where the bad reception could've been justified, formulate hypothesis, next try to express yourself differently. That's what I did at least.
